That is, assuming you’re able to fight your way past its keepers.

Dead Cells is a roguevania action platformer that will require you to master frantic 2D combat with a wide variety of weapons and skills against merciless minions and boss.

I love this game so much. The gameplay is easy, but the enemies are hard, so instead of me blaming the gameplay mechanics, I blame myself and I actually learn! “Kill. Die. Learn. Repeat.” actually lives up to what it says. 
The story is very interesting, and the combat is flipping amazing. The fact that you allow players to mash up any style they want is amazing, for example, if you like bows and arrows, but you also like having your face in the centre of the action, then you can use the Infantry Bow. 
The music is some of favourite soundtracks of all time, especially Prisoner’s Awakening, my favourite track in the entire game. 
The environments are fantastic, and are really pretty to look at, and so are the character/monster designs. 
The dialogue is actually funny, and doesn’t force it, and the Giants death animation is my favourite one! 
Dead Cells takes the #1 spot if being my favourite game. Well done Motion Twin, I’d love to see what you do with this game next!

Really well designed game, super great port onto iOS as well. Controls are fluid and feel completely natural as they are, no customisation needed, although there are customisation options.
