This app is by far the best I’ve found for managing/strategizing debt payoff. I’ve tried a bunch, many are “fancier,” but none are better.

Only thing I wish it had is a unified payoff schedule. But, going to each debt and turning the phone sideways gives an excellent payoff schedule for each debt independently. 

I love the promotional period features and the robust list of snowball strategies, which surprised me how close (or far apart) some of the strategies are.

While trying to organize my budget, I came across the Spending app by the same developers. I’ve been using the Spending app for a long time. I was ecstatic when I found the Debt Manager app. I’m using it the two apps together to reign in my spending and pay off my debts using the snowball method. The interface on both apps are similar, simple and easy to use. I highly recommend the Debt Manager and Spending tracker. If I had one wish, it would be that those two apps were combined. What a powerful tool that would be!

Really like this app. Could use a fix though. I think most that use this would like to at times change their additional snowball $ amount. Sometimes people have setbacks resulting in less cash or have more cash to use or would like to change how aggressive they are with paying things off. But when I try to do this , I notice that the balance remaining gets messed up which I am guessing also messes up money saved, time saved before payoff, and date of payoff as they would be based on this also. And for every debt after that on the list too. It looks like that is because it applies that change also to payments made previously that were not made at that amount but at the previous amount. It really would be helpful if changing the amount would rebalance only for payments made after the change. I hope this is a change / update that can be done because other than that, I think this app is great!
