So many possibilities with this app, especially if you have it on more than one device. I have one wheel with the names of all the students in my class on one device, and another on a second device with quiz questions based on what we're learning at the time. With this app I always have a dice with me, and always have a fun way to take the pressure off choosing randomly from any given list. Sharing lists between devices is easy to do from within Settings, but I notice that the share button on the wheel page doesn't work at the moment. I'd love to see some more colour schemes, and to see how other people are using the app to get more ideas.

Good!

This app is advertised as $0.99 but when I purchased it my credit card was charged $10:98!! Very dodgy.

Love This Update!

This is an incredibly useful app for teaching. I have a wheel for each grade, listing the various scales, triads, and exercises (I've thrown in a few novelty options to help with motivation!) My students really enjoy using this app to choose what activities to do. I have wheels for composing, improvising, rhythms, music history... It's great that I can now share a wheel I've made with either students or other teachers. The new colours are popular too! The only thing to be improved: I agree with another review that wedges, once selected, should temporarily disappear, so that the ongoing wedge selection remains random. Also, it would be good to have an option to automatically deselect wedges: my primary use is to select a scale - as anyone who plays piano will know, it's good to play them once, but then it's time to move on to the next one! So it would be handy if each wedge just disappeared automatically once selected. Thanks for the update!

Amazing New Update

I'm not trying to be rude, but I love the new update. And the deactivate button is not big at all. I love it

Whoa, whoa, bad changes...

I use this app EVERY DAY in my work as a teacher, randomly choosing groups to perform certain tasks. It looks like now, when the selection comes up, I'm stuck with a big ugly button underneath the group's name that says "DEACTIVATE". That's a real shame. A big mistake. It's just ugly and a distraction. Put the damn "DEACTIVATE" button somewhere less intrusive, please! Not to mention the gradient wedge that now runs behind the name at the top. Another distraction. I just want to see the text of the name in good contrast with a consistent background color. You've damaged the app. I like the fast-spin option, but that's the only thing that was necessary. Actually, no - you could have, and SHOULD have included the option to make the deactivated wedges actually disappear, rather than give the neighboring wedges a statistically greater chance of being selected (exactly the opposite of random). This update is a mishandled opportunity, and has done more harm than good.

Flat user interface is ugly

Why change something that was good Better off developing another app rather than ruining the look of your existing one

This is a fantastic tool

All the menus can be customised. I'm setting mine up for use as a practice tool to mix up the way I get through my instrumental music technical work practice, keep it interesting...
