Deen is an Islamic education platform built to make verified Shia Islamic education accessible for everyone. It's two things at once: a structured curriculum of curated Islamic lessons, and an AI assistant that answers your questions grounded in verified sources, every time. Work through Hikmah Trees - thematically organized lesson collections on theology, Imamate, Quranic ethics, and daily practice - or ask any question about faith, jurisprudence, Quranic tafsir, or Islamic history. Either way, every insight traces back to authenticated scholarship. WHY DEEN IS DIFFERENT Every answer Deen gives is traceable to a real source: authenticated Shia and Sunni hadith, Quranic verses, scholarly tafsir commentary, or Ayatollah Sistani's published rulings. The AI never speculates, never issues its own verdicts, and always tells you which source informed the answer. WHAT YOU CAN ASK • Theology and belief: Tawhid, Imamate, prophethood, and Shia doctrine • The 14 Infallibles: the Prophet, Lady Fatima al-Zahra, and the 12 Imams • Hadith and narrations from major Shia and Sunni collections • Quranic verses with scholarly tafsir commentary • Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) sourced exclusively from Sistani's rulings • Daily practice: prayer, fasting, Zakat, Hajj, purity, and more • Islamic history, ethics, and spirituality KEY FEATURES AI CHAT WITH SOURCE CITATIONS Ask any Islamic question in any language. Deen searches its knowledge base in real time and shows you exactly which hadith, verse, or ruling informed the answer. FIQH ENGINE - SISTANI'S RULINGS Jurisprudence questions are answered exclusively from Ayatollah Sistani's "Islamic Laws" (4th edition). Deen never derives its own conclusions or issues independent verdicts. If sufficient evidence cannot be found, it declines to answer rather than speculate. STRUCTURED LESSON TREES Learn through curated Hikmah Tree lesson collections - thematically grouped content on theology, ethics, Imamate, Quranic principles, and more, rated by knowledge level. AI ELABORATIONS ON LESSONS Highlight any passage while reading and request a deeper explanation - a streaming scholarly response, tailored to what you already know. PERSONALIZED LEARNING MEMORY Deen builds a learning profile across sessions, tracking what you've studied, where your gaps are, and what interests you - using this to tailor primers and explanations over time. QURAN AND TAFSIR Search Quranic verses and access scholarly commentary to deepen your understanding of the meanings behind the words. HADITH REFERENCE SEARCH Directly search across Shia and Sunni hadith collections by topic. Results include the book, chapter, hadith number, and both Arabic and English text. MULTILINGUAL SUPPORT Deen's chatbot supports English, French, Arabic, Farsi, and more. DESIGNED FOR • Curious Muslims seeking reliable, source-grounded answers • Students of Islamic knowledge following a structured curriculum • New Muslims and converts who need patient, contextual explanations • Diaspora communities engaging with their faith in English • Scholars and researchers needing fast access to Islamic sources OUR COMMITMENT Religious accuracy is foundational to Deen. The AI cites sources or refuses - it never invents. Fiqh responses always include a disclaimer that these are informational summaries, not personal fatwas, and encourage users to consult a qualified scholar for their specific situation. Deen does not answer off-topic questions. If a question falls outside Islamic education, the assistant politely explains why and declines. ## Deen Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/c8/bb/cf/c8bbcf87-4461-bd4f-9eb8-7f95c5960a57/01-hero-iphone-1320x2868.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/1f/7c/57/1f7c5710-4f03-8def-e9f9-1444f6486767/02-ai-chat-iphone-1320x2868.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/74/17/95/74179528-e7e5-e5a7-84fe-6aead0e0a0c5/03-sources-iphone-1320x2868.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/c9/a7/b8/c9a7b8c9-ae12-30ad-705c-a6cd3bfdfc9e/04-hikmah-iphone-1320x2868.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/49/14/a4/4914a40b-fc54-163e-8932-c71069ddcd84/05-personalized-iphone-1320x2868.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/6e/a7/b9/6ea7b9d6-5adb-e175-8ec5-24f1aa74e9e1/06-elaboration-iphone-1320x2868.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/2a/5f/d0/2a5fd091-5113-07cd-e87c-b7daa81a8b7f/07-references-iphone-1320x2868.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/ff/8c/8f/ff8c8fea-c3d2-c80d-e632-adbb957e0568/08-more-iphone-1320x2868.png/1320x2868.png) ## Deen Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 17 (94%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 1 (6%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## Deen Reviews in United States ### ***** "Best App Ever" Amazing app!!! -- Mahdi Hassanali, 2026-05-11 ### ***** "Great app" Phenomenal -- a313786, 2026-05-07 ### ***** "Impressed and Excited" So glad the mobile app is finally here. The interface makes it super easy to do quick lookups and dive into specific topics when I need to. Highly recommend. Going to be incredibly useful for the islamic contracts I draft for work. -- Stud Hams, 2026-05-06 ### **--- "Disfunctional" As a shia when i saw this on instagram i was excited to finally see an islamic app that prioritizes Shia belief and was accustomed to my belief, but this app needs a complete rework before being started up. The ai literally does not work. It takes ages to respond and then says it has trouble responding. The Hadith references are nice, but in my opinion would need more organizing. This app really looks like it could be amazing but i think you guys should work on the functionality before advertising more! -- akbndz, 2026-05-05 ### ***** "Finally an app for true Shia Islam" Love the Hikmah tree feature. A very beginner friendly way to learn deeper theological concepts, especially with the “ask Deen” feature. -- Shayan Nas, 2026-05-02 ### ***** "Best Islamic Education App Ever!!" finally an app that gives us shia rulings and history with direct sources! -- Haidar360, 2026-05-01 [View all Deen reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to Deen - [Shia App](https://apptail.io/app/shia-app-MvL/united-states) - [Sahifa](https://apptail.io/app/sahifa-OvL/united-states) - [Shia Content Network](https://apptail.io/app/shia-content-network-PUqf/united-states) - [Thaqalayn - Shia Companion](https://apptail.io/app/thaqalayn-shia-companion-Wwbg/united-states) - [Devoted - Shia Prayer App](https://apptail.io/app/devoted-shia-prayer-app-wKtk/united-states) - [ShiaCircle - Adhan, Latmiya](https://apptail.io/app/shiacircle-adhan-latmiya-xgwq/united-states) - [City of Knowledge](https://apptail.io/app/city-of-knowledge-qPUu/united-states) - [Ask Ayatollah](https://apptail.io/app/ask-ayatollah-pSVu/united-states) - [Twelver](https://apptail.io/app/twelver-qVDw/united-states) - [ABSA Network](https://apptail.io/app/absa-network-MTpy/united-states) ## Deen Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/united-states) - [Pakistan](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/pakistan) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/canada) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/united-kingdom) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/azerbaijan) - [United Arab Emirates](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/united-arab-emirates) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/ecuador) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/spain) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/ireland) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/india) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/italy) - [Jamaica](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/jamaica) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/japan) - [Kenya](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/kenya) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/kuwait) - [Lebanon](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/lebanon) - [North Macedonia](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/north-macedonia) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/mexico) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/malaysia) - [Nigeria](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/nigeria) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/norway) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/new-zealand) - [Oman](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/oman) - [Peru](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/peru) - [Poland](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/poland) - [Portugal](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/portugal) - [Qatar](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/qatar) - [Romania](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/romania) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/saudi-arabia) - [Senegal](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/senegal) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/thailand) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/turkey) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/taiwan) - [Uzbekistan](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/uzbekistan) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/australia) - [Belgium](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/belgium) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/brazil) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/switzerland) - [Cyprus](https://apptail.io/app/deen-learn-shia-islam-with-ai-JWyz/cyprus) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
