I just updated my iOS and it won’t let me use the old app. The old app would loop, and it would show how long the track had been playing, giving me info on how long I was sleeping. The new app doesn’t have this, it’s also BRIGHT WHITE. We have problems sleeping, BRIGHT WHITE in the app isn’t going to help us. And yes, I have turned my brightness down. I miss the old app!

I’ve used this app extensively for many years. Yes, it follows a fairly standard method to relax used throughout the world. I think there is nothing wrong with a proven formula that works.

On a good day I can run the first few sentences and relaxation techniques through my head and fall asleep. On a bad day I prefer to let the app guide me to sleep. This has been a lifesaver for me. 

The reason it’s not five stars is the delayed wake functionality has been removed. Being able to wake up 8 hours later in such a calm fashion was such a luxury.

Andrew Johnson’s guided meditation and relaxation apps are all amazing. At first I found his voice quite comical due to the Irish/Scottish lilt, kind of like having a cross between Billy Connelly and Mrs Doubtfire do meditation! However, this quickly becomes an advantage as his voice is very comforting. The deep sleep app is my favorite and I use it practically every night. The more you use it the better it works. I even have my whole family using the apps now. My mum likes to joke that she enjoys having a “threesome” with Andrew as both of my parents listen to it as they’re going to sleep! Can’t recommend highly enough!! Lol
