RIP old design
It was a really good translation. Unfortunately they add new design and now it’s had to use it for me. Because I can’t press swipe bottom, it’s too small. When I try to press it half of the time I misclick to change language function.

I can’t use the speech function because it’s stuck on “detect language”. Every time I try to select the input language, it just greys out.
I’ve used a lot of translation software for Japanese to English and vice versa. This is easily the best app at that. It handles idiomatic and specialized text exceedingly well. I’m keeping one star away because it has a translation from pictures function that is unusable. Its document translation is also very poor, often with significant formatting issues. If it didn’t claim it could do that I’d give it 5 stars but until it improves those features it’s 4.
The interface in the new update is not convenient, the selection of colors is very unpleasant to the eye, please fix the bug that after several uses the "Insert" button disappears. It's very inconvenient and I have to restart the app. But the translation history is very handy, I like how the app picks up and translates words. I really like that you added a "Copy" button so that you can immediately, without straining, copy the text and paste it in the desired place. I write through your translator. It's actually a very handy application.
The latest version of the IOS Mobile App does not work with Bluetooth keyboards connected to an iPad. It works with the iPad keyboard, and it's necessary to detach the Bluetooth keyboard to type in a phrase. I tried to point out this bug to DEEPL, but they will only allow you to contact them if you are a paid subscriber.
And We need the deepl ios shortcut!
I don't know what happened, but it's really hard to switch between languages. It's just impossible to hit those arrows to switch languages. It's incredibly annoying. It's never happened before😟😟
While by far the most accurate translation app available, the size and location of the swap language button makes it nearly impossible to swap back and forth between languages without bringing up the language selection menu.
It has no Thai language and Myanmar language
With this latest update the ‘Detect Language’ function and with it, German, are not working. It just keeps ‘detecting’ I’m writing in some weird English dialect. However I cannot even TELL them the problem. As support is only for PAID customers. Finding this out is gross. I will no longer support or recommend (in fact—recommend AGAINST it) to my friends. Because this makes translation useless.
