Notifications appear and aren’t camera notifications but spam to buy stuff from them.

App is hard to navigate, pages are confusing and don’t quite make sense the way they’re organized so the user experience is awful.

Recently had this expensive camera go offline for no reason.  Following the prompts to remedy and half-way through it says to push the reset button without telling you where it is - there’s just a pic of an arrow pointing to the LED light which is just a repeat of the previous page’s graphic.  Try to find info in the app showing where the reset button could be located before climbing up a ladder and can’t find a user guide anywhere within the app.  Maybe it’s there, maybe it isn’t but the stupid way it’s set-up, I’ve gone in circles for the last 15 minutes and couldn’t find it.

I have two Defender Cameras
1. Main App Screen only shows live video on top camera. Competitors are able to show live video simultaneously from multiple cameras
2. Cameras cannot be dragged around ir rearranged. I prefer second camera to be on top. App won’t allow it. 
3. Timestamp is on top right of video. During day time that part of screen has the sky - so, cannot read timestamp. I requested they move timestamp to bottom of video like the competition. Frustrating. 
4. Once a week I would like to reboot camera to fix any glitches. Competition offer it as an option within automatic routines. I requested this. Not done. 
5. Within routines, please allow enabling select time periods for human detected, vehicle detected etc instead of generic ‘motion detected’. Folks who live near busy street, would benefit from disabling human notifications during day and enabling human notifications during night.

The app has been recently spamming me with iPhone home screen notifications, hawking stuff like their cloud service. It never used to be this way. The Ad toggle within the app’s settings is off. Support has not contacted me back.

I’m receiving more add notifications rather than real ones. Stop your deceiving practices. The notifications should be for real time alerts and not your adds. I’m returning the cans back to Costco.

This company takes at a minimum of 3 days to respond to ANY issue you have.  If you are ok with chat bot support then you should be fine.  Otherwise, don’t purchase their product - it is a waste of time and money.  I don’t even know how they are still in business.
