I have a non-Bluetooth timer so now have to look for an older iPhone with the software as I’m trading in my iPhone13 for credit. -- Morelogic, 2026-03-28 ### *---- "No longer works" This app used to work fine, but now it doesn’t and shuts down during setup so it’s impossible to add a new light after deleting the one as suggested in their troubleshooting. They seem to not care in a fix since they have ignored this issue for quite some time. Don’t bother with home depot brands. Buy brands who stand behind their equipment. So many better choices now. -- RhymeoRob, 2026-01-10 ### *---- "Screw your Customers!" Pathetic behavior by all involved including Home Depot, the “owner” of the original Defiant timer product. If you can’t, or refuse to support your products, then at least make the software Open Source so we can possibly still use the timers we purchased. -- forrestforrestgump, 2025-12-28 ### *---- "Defiant obsolete" Once you update your phone, your Defiant app becomes obsolete. A waste of money. I’ll be buying a different brand from now on. -- NoMoreDefiant for me, 2025-10-14 ### *---- "Can’t control older timer" I have an older Defiant timer with plug in cord and the current app does not support it. I don’t have access to older app so what am I supposed to do now, buy a whole new timer? What a waste. Nice thinking about your customers. I’m not buying your items anymore. 😡 -- Beakman28, 2025-10-05 ### *---- "Use Notify Blue App Instead" This app won’t run even on my iPhone 11. Install the Notify Blue app instead. It isn’t great but did let me find and control my floodlight via Bluetooth. -- $andman~, 2025-08-21 ### *---- "Not compatible with older timers" The new app does not work on older timers. Please update the app or bring back the old app in the Apple Store. -- $@^@g3, 2025-08-17 ### *---- "Should be illegal" I have multiple non-Bluetooth automated switches from these people and apparently, they discontinued the old app and this one doesn’t support it. So, they made them unusable. I’d strongly recommend not buying anything from them because they’ll probably render that product useless, too. -- Kevin Mc13, 2025-07-28 ### *---- "Rip off" Just remove the wire mode app and let only the Bluetooth . what about the people who bought those kind of switches we have to throw them away to buy the Bluetooth ones now? this is just ripping off paper to not buy this kind of stuff. -- Vic 2bsvegwgsv, 2025-07-20 ### *---- "Horrible-Worthless & Frustrating!" How in the world could Defiant have millions of non-Bluetooth timers still on the market and in use by thousands of customers, and all of a sudden remove the app that controls them and replace it with an app that ONLY supports Bluetooth devices?? Really? Are you expecting people to run out and purchase new timers so we can use the new app? I don’t think so. Why would Defiant be so thoughtless? On a second note, it’s an insult snd insensitive to the customer’s needs that they didn’t even recommend an alternative app to use with the old timers. This has been disappointing and frustrating to say the least and I for one - will show my lack of interest in NEVER purchasing anything from defiant! -- Rasheed 66, 2025-06-28 [View all Defiant reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Defiant Discovered Keywords - defiant - defiant smart plug - hubspace app - the hubspace - tunable tape light - defiant app timer - hubspace ## Apps Similar to Defiant - [Lutron App](https://apptail.io/app/lutron-app-BhG/united-states) - [B-hyve](https://apptail.io/app/b-hyve-pIG/united-states) - [Lutron RadioRA 2 + HWQS App](https://apptail.io/app/lutron-radiora-2-hwqs-app-PLT/united-states) - [CE Smart](https://apptail.io/app/ce-smart-IaU/united-states) - [Hubspace](https://apptail.io/app/hubspace-Lrpb/united-states) - [ELEGRP HOME](https://apptail.io/app/elegrp-home-CKAc/united-states) - [Brightlayer Home](https://apptail.io/app/brightlayer-home-nHld/united-states) - [HALO Home](https://apptail.io/app/halo-home-wBle/united-states) - [Kidde](https://apptail.io/app/kidde-nvmg/united-states) - [Kwikset Premis Smart Lock](https://apptail.io/app/kwikset-premis-smart-lock-Wesk/united-states) ## Defiant Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/defiant-oGHc/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/defiant-oGHc/canada) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/defiant-oGHc/australia) - [Dominican Republic](https://apptail.io/app/defiant-oGHc/dominican-republic) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/defiant-oGHc/hong-kong) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/defiant-oGHc/colombia) - [China](https://apptail.io/app/defiant-oGHc/china) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
