More and more articles read as if edited by an AI bot, include pictures that don’t belong to the article, and the price has gone up to $20 (ok, just $19.99) per month for digital only. More that I pay for the NYT and WaPo combined. You can do many things online, but not cancel your subscription. You can do many things over the phone over the weekends, but not cancel your subscription. The News Journal has a long history of poor reporting, terrible editing and terrible phone support. The price they charge for obituaries is outrageous and now you can’t even find them without going through a lot of gymnastics. Then when you find them you have to do a lot of screen manipulation to read them.
