It works great with my Denon Avr-x1500h.
Since the update 3.4.2 the app gets stuck and doesn’t detect my AVR-X2600H which has the latest firmware. Was a very nice app. Now it’s annoying trying to connect. 3.4.4 shows the AVR but unable to connect. When trying to connect gets stuck in the spinning wheel / wait icon.
This app is ridiculous, when is a proper update going to be released? Have a x8500... needs a proper app!
Most of the time it does not detect my AVR-X2200W.
This app has almost blown my speakers twice. When you’re listening to music/pods and check an IG reel or whatever— after exiting the reel it maxes the volume out on both zones. This is detrimental to your audio equipment. If I want to adjust the volume, I’ll do so through the app as intended. Not a permanently bound volume button on my phone
I have Denon AVR, even though my device and phone are on the same WiFi, this app never connects to the device.
The app frequently loses its connection to the receiver. Cold-booting the receiver is seldom convenient, so I just use the receiver's remote.
About 9 times out of 10 this app will not connect to my Denon receiver.
Every time I leave my house or get out of range from my wifi and come back the app will not find my AVR-S970H. This is the same complaint everybody has and they just won’t fix it. I have my AVR in a location where the remote can’t get line of site. I need the app to control my system. The only solution is to unplug my AVR, wait two minutes, power it back on and then it can find the device. I’ll be returning my S970H and going with a different brand altogether. If the app worked the system would be perfect, but having to unplug and restart the system every time I get out of range of my wifi is ridiculous.
Don't know what happened, with the last few releases, but this hasn't been able to connect to my AVR S740H for a couple of months now.... Update: Held down the power button on the receiver until "Restart" appeared on the display - working again!
