New version crashes
Installed the new version on my iPhone and iPad. Unfortunately it crashes all the time on my iPad Air2. If i click on a particular bird it crashes, i.e. it closes itself. Works fine on my iPhone 13 Pro.

Huippulaatuinen lintukirja puhelimessa
Sovellus on erittäin laadukkaasti tehty. Alkuperäisestä kirjasta tuleva materiaali (teksti ja lajikuvat) on tunnetusti erinomaista, mutta myös sovelluksen käyttöliittymä on suunniteltu ja toteutettu poikkeuksellisen hyvin ja viimeistellysti. Käyttö on helppoa ja miellyttävää, ja sovelluksen ulkoasu on suorastaan kaunis. En ole mikään lintuharrastaja, mutta silti tein ensimmäiset lajimääritykset parissa minuutissa. Kirjassa valtava laji- ja sivumäärä saattaisi ahdistaa, mutta sovelluksessa se ei haittaa. Erinomaisten hakutoimintojen jälkeen jäljelle jää usein muutama lajivaihtoehto, joiden vertailu on tehty helpoksi. Kuvissa on hyvin merkitty lajeja erottavat piirteet. Ainoa varsinainen miinus on englanninkielisyys: vaikka lajien nimet saa vaihdettua asetuksista suomenkielisiksi, hakujen ja lajikuvausten kanssa vaaditaan kielitaitoa. Suomenkielistä versiota ei ole julkaisijan mukaan ainakaan lähiaikoina luvassa. Kaikkiaan erinomainen ja ilahduttavan hieno paketti tavallisen lintukirjan hinnalla.

Ainoa mitä joskus kaipaa on lisää kuvia joistain puvuista. Mutta kyllä niitäkin on tarpeeksi kaikista. Käyttöliittymä hyvä, lajinimiä eri kielillä sopivasti, äänet hyvät.
Great app, but do not try to buy videos
This is the best online bird guide available for north Europe, maybe even for the whole Europe. It is incredibly handy to have in pocket. But please consider twice before trying the in-app purchases. I paid the bill, but getting the videos seems impossible!
