Strongly recommendable for amateur birders. Picked up this digital version because it is lighter in my kayak from which I'm mostly birding from. Of course the books don't need battery to look at at them, but just by testing this digital version I found out how quickly I can work with this Application nicely designed, and working fast even on my old iPhone 4.
Using now currently on iPad4 under latest compatible iOS version.
Only one serious thing I've been missing, not available in my favorite language: Spanish! For this I chop on star off.
