However, something is definitely wrong with the ‘speed meter’. I don’t exceed the limits but the app started showing me that I do. It happens on the streets with slow speed limits. I tried to go 30 where it was 40, but the app still shows speeding. If you choose to stop so that there’s no chance of hitting that car this app will reduce your safe driving score because it has determined you brake too aggressively. It’s just a matter of time before someone t-bones a car turning left in an effort to reduce their insurance premiums. That’s just one of the flaws. There are many. I don’t think I’ve shopped for car insurance in 25 years, but I’m going to once my evaluation period ends. Now it’s getting lower but nothing has changed in my driving habits - leads me to believe that the closer you get to your renewal, it’ll find any reason to ding you points so that you won’t get the discount.
