## Desqueeze Description
Resize, de-squeeze, and upscale your photos and videos — with batch processing, HDR, and Live Photo support. Apply 100+ templates for quick social media, optimization, and anamorphic results. Enter exact sizes up to 18,000 × 12,000 px for photos and 8K for videos for your custom results. Optimize format, file size, and color profile — while preserving high quality and metadata.


DESQUEEZE FEATURES:

Resize Photos and Videos
• Enter a new size in pixels, aspect ratios, and percentages
• Resize in three different ways: Stretch, Fill, and Fit
• Choose between Normal and Smart size for more flexible resizing
• Batch resize an unlimited number of photos and videos
• Reuse up to 10 recent resizing tasks with one tap
• De-squeeze anamorphic photos to achieve a natural look
• Resize Live Photos while preserving their format, or convert them to still images

Import Sources inside Desqueeze
• Select photos and videos from the Photo Library
• Select any full album from the Photo Library
• Select multiple photos and videos from the Files app
• Take a picture with the camera

Reformat Photos
• Choose between PNG, JPEG, HEIC, and TIFF image formats
• Specify compression quality for JPEG, HEIC, and TIFF formats
• Select Auto format to reuse the original image format when possible
• Adjust image resolution with a new DPI, or keep the original DPI

Reformat Videos
• Choose between MP4, QuickTime (MOV), and M4V video formats
• Select Auto format to reuse the original video format when possible
• Choose video codec between Auto, H.264, and HEVC(H.265)
• Specify video bitrate or use Automatic

Edit Photos and Videos
• Flip and rotate images or videos
• Choose a background color for Fit mode
• Specify default background color for photos and videos
• Adjust position and offset for Fill and Fit modes

Manage Colors for Photo and Video 
• Apply one of 12 Color Profiles, inlcuding Original (Automatic)
• Process photos and videos while preserving HDR

Templates
• Use a universal set of 100+ standard templates to resize photos and videos for specific platforms and standards, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and more
• Create personal templates for your own tasks
• Duplicate standard templates and modify personal templates
• Customize standard Tempalate Library for your workflow and needs

Photo Viewer and Video Player

This app has everything you need for resizing photos quickly and efficiently. It has a nice clean well laid-out user interface. One thing that would be nice would be to see the image file size on each image. It show the dimensions in pixels.

the only reason i downloaded this is because i need to be able to input custom numbers for resizing which it worked for but then it adds a watermark to the photo and says you have to pay to remove it. Just for a resize lol so i had to go through the extra step of photoshopping their watermark off the picture. so it's just unnecessary.

This is app is really good and does exactly what it advertises. However, in a recent(ish) update, there is now a watermark on exports for free users. Of course, the app has to make money, but would love if there was an option to watch ads to get rid of the watermark or something similar - for a lot of free users the added watermark removes most of the value from the app.

I don’t like the new interface at all. I can’t get my photos to resize or use a template. I used this every day for fast resizing now I’m so frustrated. Why do developers try and fix a good thing? At least give an option to go back to the previous version as it is way too complex now, used to be my favorite but I will be looking for something more simple once again!

Just over two weeks ago (Oct 23 2024), they released the new 4.0 interface. I posted a review about that, with a request to provide a user setting to select the home page style as I preferred the original style. WOW, they added this feature in todays release (Nov 8 2024)! Thanks for listening to your customers and actually implementing this setting - your team is the best!

This app is just what I was looking for. The provided templates keep things simple and the folders for originals, photos, and videos in the Photos app keep your work organized. It’s well worth the price!

I have been using the app for 3 years consistently and it worked amazing. Recently I have noticed when using the app, I will click on the photos to compress and after clicking to the button the app freezes and then goes back to my Home Screen. Once I refresh it three times, then it starts to work. I would recommend fixing this bug.

I bought this to resize iPhone photos so I can email several at a time. It should be easy to select 20 photos and reduce the file sizes so I don’t exceed email limitations. Therapy gives several options and templates but every time I tried to resize it kept every previous attempt. My 20 photo grew to number. 140+. 
There is a “select all” but no “delete all”. This is my first day to use the ap. After a few weeks I will have hundreds of duplicate that O will have to weed through. 

Also, the Apple “live” photo mode is an additional pain.  You have to delete the .mov files before resizing. 
This process is a disappointment!
