### ***** "So freaking good"
This is definitely a murder mystery game you really don’t wanna miss out on; the fact that it’s animated, has great audio, and voice acting AND has a very good storyline just amazes me. if you are looking for a murder mystery game that has unique characters and a funny detective then I highly suggest this one. Tangle Tower holds a dear place in my heart so, when I found this I was extremely happy, and believe me, y’all are gonna want to download this extraordinary masterpiece-and you DEFINITELY won’t regret it :3

Ps: thank you to the people who made this amazing game, I hope to see more people play it and I also hope there will be more games like it ;3

### ***** "I want more!"
From the second I downloaded the game to the very end I couldn't put it down. Everything was perfect. 

The music was beautiful and the characters had so much story to each one of them. The only mistake I noticed was that when asked, Folder had no interest in himself. Other than that, this has been my favorite app in a very long time. 

Still...a year+ later I want a sequel. I've played it multiple times but I just want more. 2020 EDIT: the sequel was incredible and again, I’m left needing more!

### ***** "Another good mystery"
I played Tangle Tower and downloaded this game as soon as I saw it. The art and style is a bit more bright and pops a bit more, with some parts of the interface more intuitive, or perhaps having played Tangle Tower I now knew at the start you could talk to witnesses/suspects about clues and other characters.

The voice acting and story aren't quite as good as in Tangle Tower, which also had more potential motives and explanations as you learn about the house and its inhabitants. you move toward the final reveal. I also miss the banter between two detectives, and there is a character in this one that reminds me way too much of that child in The Secret of Kells and also serves mainly as a story accelerator. Finally, I prefer the map navigation of the first game.

Overall, however, this is still a fun game and a recommended purchase. I hope they bring us another in the future, as long as they avoid shortcuts and invest in an engrossing story and good writing.

I love this game so much! I found it about a year after playing their other detective game, tangle tower, and I was so happy to see it! These games are so fun and truly worth playing, and I recommend buying the other one as well. It is worth every cent!

I LOVE THIS GAME! This is the the best mystery game I’ve ever played and it’s the only one I’ll play more than once! By the way,it would be very much appreciated if you could make another game like this one or like Tangle Towers.I just wish Tangle Towers wasn’t deleted from the Apple Arcade.PLEASE MAKE MORE!!!

### ***** "One of a kind Game"
I always come back to playing this game, and tangled tower. Both are amazing. The plot, the clues, graphics, and voice acting. It’s a terrific mystery/ puzzle game. I’ve played many mystery games, and this franchise is still my favorite. I’m so excited and cannot wait for what’s to come in the Grimoire Series. 

Although I do wish I could play Tangeled Tower just regular and not on apple play 😅.

I originally played Tangle tower and loved it, after that my husband found this one and so I had to play it. It’s just as amazing as the other and Definitely worth what I payed. At the end of this one though it said to be continued, but tangle tower didn’t seem to be the continuation of this story. Will there be more of detective Grimoire? I love this series so much

I bought this bc I love Apple Arcade’s sequel. This one was good but no where near as much game okay and extremely easy to beat. Love the graphics art and this type/style of game tho. Hope they make a third.

It’s a very well done game. The characters are adorable and whimsical. Quick witted humor. It’s a detective game and while there is moving around and pointing and clicking, it’s not a traditional point and click adventure game if that’s what you’re looking for.

It’s hard to know which direction you came from, and after a bit, I discovered there is a map that will take you anywhere you want to go so thanks for that. 

It’s a relatively short game and it may make you feel like you’re almost an outsider and the characters interact without you. They come up with their own pre-prepared dialog and most things they say are clues. There really aren’t any puzzles per say but everything advances the sleuthing. It’s a process of information and elimination and you might even consider it educational in practical thinking.

This game would be more appealing to younger audiences. Again, what they’ve done here is done to perfection and it deserves the 5 stars I gave it, but I needed more head scratching adventuring.

This game and Tangle tower took so much time and effort to make, I played this game after tangle tower and being the prequel was really cool. Tangle tower has more interesting characters, and better UI. But Detective Grimoire is still amazing. I still think that people don’t realize how hard the devs worked to make these games. With all the storylines, graphics, just outstanding.

Hi developer humans, this game took me 2 days to finish!! I think you should make the plot less obvious and the puzzles harder. Other than that, it’s an AMAZING game. I also finished Tangle Tower, which is pretty amazing as well. It took me three days!
In Detective Grimoire, I pretty much knew who the murderer was when I discovered the hunting photo.
Other than that, TOTALLY AWESOME EPIC FUN AWESOME GAME!!! Nice job, devs!!
It has inspired me a lot!!! How do u come up with these awesome ideas??

The game was not challenging at all. It reminded me of Dora. The character would ask simple questions and the puzzles were just as simple. At least the designs were pretty.

First off, I highly recommend this game to murder mystery gamers.

So I only discovered this game because of the sequel (in Apple Arcade). After I finished it, I wanted more. My research into when the next game would be released showed me this game. Without any hesitation, I bought it and finished it flawlessly in one night (just now). It was just as fun as the sequel, though more was added in Tangled Tower (at least I thought so).
Sad fact is that it took nearly 5 years from this for the sequel. Let’s hope the future games don’t need to take as long.
