This site has gone downhill
Terrible moderation. People get their art removed by false reports even though the art itself doesn’t violate the TOS Nsfw artists aren’t safe on there anymore Very toxic community with little effort from deviantart to protect its users from people harassing said users. Art theft, predators, trolls, and so many of these people infest the site as well as AI “art” and NFTs. Deviantart is now just a shell of itself and its staff is useless at their jobs. I’ve had another account on here as an artist for 3 years, had my stuff falsely reported numerous times, they never make their TOS clear enough until last year. This site as lost everything that made people love it and lost its popularity. It’s no longer about artists, It’s only about money and advertisers and trying to be “advertiser friendly”.
Same bugs never fixed
I’ve played this game for years and have had the same exact glitches on different devices, it always crashes randomly, videos or gifs don’t play, sometimes the screen goes black for no reason, and sometimes the site lags for no reason is you traverse it too fast

it’s basically a pornography app and most of the images are 18+
My post got matured for no reason! Fix the glitch!
When I posted a new post, it got matured for no reason and no one can’t see it! I did not press mature content, fix it plz!!!!

The app is fine and all but is missing some things that would benefit people like buying fragments/points and giving badges and such. Oh and stop the AI art
No longer works on an iPad
You can enter your user name but not your password as the website and app no longer work on an iPad. Pressing on the password box no longer brings up the keypad.
Platform itself is good… but not on mobile.
Before I begin this review, I want to make it clear that this is directed at the app itself, not the website. DeviantArt itself is a good platform for artists. Yes, it has its stereotypes online, but if you can ignore that, you’ll have a good time sharing and browsing art. Unfortunately, the mobile app for this art sharing site is beyond broken. So broken that sometimes the entire app breaks, and you have to restart the app (or if you’re lucky simply rotate your device). Many notifications are not sent, so when I check my account on desktop, I end up with a ton of unread notifications. There’s also a lot of errors; profile bios do not show up, and many arts that aren’t marked as mature normally are only marked in this app, even if they are innocent. Profile customization is also much more limited. The site is far more superior; but even that has its bugs; you can’t even log in with Google without errors. Save your trips to DA for your computer if you’re a frequent user, but you should be fine if you only use it once in a while.
App doesn’t even refresh
Compared to the website, the app no longer refreshes at the same rate. Pathetic.
