## Dex: Audio Tours & City Guides Description
Dex turns the world's greatest places into cinematic experiences — with spellbinding stories, captivating characters, immersive sound design, and an AI guide that knows every corner.

PICK YOUR STORYTELLER
The same place, told differently. With Dex, you choose who tells the story. A historian. A rebel. A queen. Each storyteller brings a unique perspective, turning a single landmark into a battleground, a love story, or a legend.

CINEMATIC AUDIO TOURS
This is not a standard audio guide. Dex delivers full-production audio experiences with rich narration, original soundtracks, and edge-of-your-seat sound effects. Every chapter is crafted to make you feel like you are inside the story — not just listening to it.

EXPLORE ON YOUR TERMS
Stories are organized into bite-sized chapters so you can explore at your own pace. Pause, skip ahead, or go deep — Dex adapts to how you want to experience a place.

ASK DEX ANYTHING
See something interesting? Ask Dex. Scan an object, point at a painting, or just ask a question — and get thoughtful, contextual answers powered by AI. Dex is more than just a tour; it is a knowledgeable companion that travels with you.

INTERACTIVE CHARACTERS
Dex goes beyond audio. Meet interactive characters who engage you, surprise you, and pull you deeper into every location. Unlock hidden stories that make exploring fun for everyone — solo travelers, couples, and families alike.

## Dex: Audio Tours & City Guides Reviews in United States

### ***** "needs bookmarks"
it brings up an affair to remember, which is basically my mums whole personality, so i texted her from the queue. dead easy to get going as well, no learning curve. dropping a star because a mate dragged me off mid segment and theres no way to save your place. bookmarks pls. also whoever designed a queue that doubles back on itself four times wants a word. the wifi in there is decorative at best but the app carried on fine so maybe it caches
-- gregorio_shenikab, 2026-09-18

### ***** "best of the four"
booked it thinking this would be the boring town hall stop of the week. what you actually get is medici politics, poisonings, rivalries, marriages used as weapons. best written of the four i listened to in florence and it wasnt close. queue for the loo downstairs is a nightmare mind
-- DotDownsq, 2026-09-17

### ***** "Still learnt something"
I teach this exact period to Year 10s and it still gave me something new. The hands on the David are deliberately oversized, symbolic of the fight not yet fought. Twenty years in the classroom and I have never once said that to a class. Properly researched, this.
-- pride cobb, 2026-09-17

### ****- "wasnt expecting that"
stood over newtons grave for a good ten minutes and got properly choked up, which is not what i thought id be doing with a £5 audio app. no swelling strings, no big drama, just the facts in the right order and it lands
-- Darla Stillwell, 2026-09-16

### ***** "every angle worked"
my girlfriend and i scanned it from every angle the app suggested and each one gave back something different. reckon we were in there for a solid half hour 😅
-- terisa_marinem, 2026-09-06

### ***** "painting under a painting"
there was a faint shadow in the corner of one canvas that was bugging me so i just asked. turns out theres an earlier version underneath that got painted over, pentimento is the word apparently. never heard it before in my life. i fired off three more questions right away
-- Raney Adalberto, 2026-09-02

### ***** "works for two"
we shared one set of earbuds. pause and start again is easy one handed, so the two of us got through the whole thing on the one phone
-- SusannBolducn, 2026-08-23

### ***** "slowed me way down"
it told me to back up a few steps and squint at the Turners. did it for 15 minutes like an idiot. totally works
-- Sherlene_Natachaq, 2026-08-20

### ***** "good for history nerds"
im a history teacher so i figured this would be pretty thin. but the hypogeum section, the tunnel level underneath where the animals and the fighters waited to get winched up through the trapdoors, dex actually does that right. i stood in a hot corridor for like 20 minutes just listening to it. my own students tune out when i cover the exact same material, so. humbling. security line was 40 minutes though, bring water
-- margret jeramy, 2026-08-08

### ***** "finally get it"
ive read a ton about this dome over the years and kept none of it. dex lays out the concrete, unreinforced, still standing after 2000 years, and nobody has fully nailed down the mix. first time any of it stuck. clear without being dumbed down, which is harder than it sounds
-- Shook_Slagler, 2026-08-07
