Dexcom G7 Reviews

App keeps crashing

Pfefferks on

Canada

The latest versions of the app starting from 2.7.0 are crashing and not alerting until the app is re-opened. It also doesn't share the readings, which is very frustrating for me as a parent of a t1d child. Please fix asap! The very last update of 2.9.0 is very inconvenient - when entering insulin uk bets, the cursor isn't in the number field! Please fix asap

Poor connectivity to iphone

Constantly losing bluetooth connection requires phone restart to re-connect

Much improved over G6

Dedavys on

Love the G7 app. Happy that I can silence all the alarms when necessary to either vibrate or completely silence. ALS enjoy picking my own alert sounds. I’m still able to use the old clarity app which I prefer.

Rubbish Dexcom G7

Cococolahehehe on

Canada

Insert a new sensor after only used a few hours. The 1st time use this machine. Always say 2.0, all day no matter after I ate or drank. Now even asked me to insert a new sensor. Called help desk support no one called. Wasted $$ and time. Absolutely garbage. I like to give a zero if there’s an option.

Coverage for device but the app sucks

Tantrum82 on

Canada

Does not communicate with Applehealth or Applewatch depriving users of valuable data that could help them manage lifestyle changes. Carb count tool doesn’t give references and suggests you guess. This is unacceptable given that insurance companies and coverages pay for clients to use these devices.

Constant signal loss

MKBirdies on

Canada

My 5 year old continues to have random signal losses. Everything is normal except it seems the app just stop functioning. We close the app and start it back up and all is back to normal. It’s happened on multiple sensors so I think it’s more an app vs sensor issue. We never experience losses this often with the G6

App keeps crashing

Enilecenilegnave on

App keeps crashing on iPhone X, especially overnight. It gives you an alarm that it loses signal, and then when you open the app, it takes a few minutes to connect back.

Crash out.

It’s been a few months of having the g7 and every time I’ve had to redownload it because it stopped loading causing me to do extra stuff to get my reading because the app crashes and doesn’t load. Fix it.

Not ready for prime time

Elska57 on

Canada

I use this app on a iPhone 15 pro max. ♦️major compatibility issues. ♦️iPhone low power mode not allowed. ♦️App sometimes takes 10 or more seconds to launch then immediately quits. ♦️ The iPhone Bluetooth DXCMap must be deleted before every sensor replacement. ♦️defective sensors are common. ♦️During phone assist the Constant harvesting of personal information is not appreciated. I like the idea but I feel this app is BETA

Crashes, no alerts

shepshow on

Canada

App has been crashing in the background for weeks now with multiple sensors. The complete lack of alerts has lead to extreme highs and lows for extended periods of time (such as lows for 4-5 hours overnight) attempting to get a support ticket open through the app is convoluted and basically impossible. Poor app functionality was the number one reason I switched to Dexcom from Libre2 and if Dexcom doesn’t come up with a fox soon I’m likely to try and find yet another way to manage my diabetes. Updated months later, issues still present, no improvements or word from Dexcom developers. Support is completely broken and tickets cannot be opened at all. Looking at all the more recent reviews stating the same problem, Dexcom clearly needs some new developers who know what they’re doing. Absolute trash software.
