### ****- "Generally good - couple of issues"
This gives a good picture of my glucose levels - is easy to set up and use. Generally I have few problems. 

The two issues I have are:
1) occasionally a sensor cannot be calibrated. 
2) the background is bright white - generally annoying and positively awful at night when it is bright enough to fully wake me up and sometimes wake my other half too. An option to have a dark screen with light text and graphs would be a huge improvement.

### *---- "Worst app I’ve ever used!!!!"
Honestly I don’t know how this is so bad and hasn’t got fixed. It’s an actual joke. 

Trying to connect a sensor and every 40 mins it’s disconnecting telling me to add new sensor. I’ve tried 7 times and it’s doing the same thing. THEN I uninstall the app and re-download to see if it helps, I can’t log in so I select forgot password…. It sends a code to my email but THE SECOND I flick off the dexcom app to look at my emails it goes back to the Home Screen?!?! So I am unable to enter the code it sent me and log back in now to retry. What a joke!!!

All this on top of dodgy readings and it STILL hasn’t been fixed!! It’s crazy!!

Never had any issues in the first 6 months or so. All of a sudden I’m getting readings that make no sense, loss of connection, especially during sleep, transmitters not pairing for no reason after following all the correct steps, and sensors failing for no reason. Don’t know why this has started but the app needs updating or something and it hasn’t got one for 5 months at least.

The app is absolutely brilliant. I moved from the Libre and I love it. I’ve never had any issues with the app. It says to keep it within 6m of the phone but it occasionally loses signal when my phone is close - but it usually reconnects in a couple of minutes. Never had any issues with this at all and it’s completely life changing. Would highly recommend.

The concept of the app is great and the CGM experience is life changing for diabetics. But the alarm system is so poor. Firstly, there is no critical alert system, meaning that the alerts will not override any phone settings. This is such an oversight. Libre system can do it, fall alerts can do it, there is no reason why this shouldn’t be a feature. Additionally the chime for a high glucose alert is too short - irrespective of which audio you set it to. It doesn’t alert for long enough to interrupt sleep or be heard through the bustle of busy life. There needs to be an option to extend the length of the chime. Finally, the low glucose alarm alert, whilst it does ring for long enough to alert you, it is very inconsistent. I’ve experienced the alert where it’s said I’m low, I’ve handled it, but then 1 hour later, I’ve gone back to check, but it’s fallen even lower and not re alerted or I just don’t get an alert. For a system which takes 2 hours to calibrate, I would expect more accuracy within the system.

I decided to give Dexcom a try as my Libre’s weren’t sticking to me. And although some things about the Dexcom are bit better. Like comfort. The app falls short. I cannot shut the app and have it do its thing in the background which at night I shut the app out of habit and lose a whole nights readings. Like who leaves apps open? We close them to save battery and this has to stay open. Which to me a really let down and annoyance. Also the time in target cannot be changed I liked to be a bit harder on myself and make the green smaller as imo 10 is a litttle high. But on Dexcom you cannot change that either. I at this moment in time will not make the swap because the app is letting it down imo!
