It for a long time it has stopped working and in a serious need of an update. Not sure why it is still in the App Store, but I warn you away from having to get a refund for a non functioning app. Fingerlab have done some revamped versions of their stalwart apps recently, which is excellent, and now it is time to do this one too. Either update this one or bring out a newer version and not be lazy and keep offering an abandoned and broken app for sale. Makes the developers look really bad and untrustworthy. -- Laarz, 2026-01-16 ### *---- "Just doesn’t do what the box says" I bought this app a couple of weeks ago, despite it being very old and not AUV3 because it looked interesting, and I’m not one of those aUV3 or die types. But it just does not work. Now that Audiobus is supposedly supported, it still doesn’t work. When I try and launch it in Audiobus 3 it just crashes over and over.I would get a refund, but it’s too late and I was kind of hoping they get their act together. I had created some very inspiring patches within 30 minutes of buying it. If you're on the fence, definitely get it, especially if you don't already own many effects processors. Despite my harsh comments in the past about this app not working, I do have to admit that it was out of frustration when a update shortly after the release of DFX would render it useless. But I’m here to say that after an update posted on 5/9/15 has put DFX on the back in business list again! After running it through Audioshare via IAA and testing it with synth apps like Alchemy, Magellan and few others, I’m glad to say it FINALLY WORKS!!
