Dhyan is a quiet candle gazing (trataka) meditation app. Sit, rest your eyes on a softly flickering candle, and let your breath slow to match the flame. No accounts, no feeds, no ads, nothing to manage. Just you and the flame. WHY CANDLE GAZING Trataka is a traditional meditation practice: you rest your gaze on a single point of light. Many people use it to steady their attention, quiet a busy mind, and unwind before sleep. Dhyan makes it simple enough to do every day. HOW IT WORKS • Tap to start. A gentle four-second countdown helps you settle. • Gaze at the candle. Soft focus, slow breath. • The session ends on its own, or double tap to finish early. Every sit is saved. A QUIET PLACE, ANYWHERE • 11 calming scenes: Zen Garden, Lotus Pond, Aurora, Misty Temple, Torii Gate, Twilight Sea, Bamboo Moon and more • A realistic, living flame with warm glow and rising embers • Optional ambient music that plays offline • Keep the timer on screen or hide it for a distraction-free sit BUILD A DAILY RITUAL • Streak calendar that shows every day you sat • Today and this-week minutes, plus a chart of your last six days • A gentle daily reminder at the time you choose • Inspiring quotes from the Buddha, Lao Tzu, Rumi and other teachers PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No sign-up and no account • Your history stays on your device • No ads and no analytics • Works offline Made for iPhone and iPad.
