The Diabits app is a personalized diabetes management tool made by Bio Conscious for people with type I and type II diabetes. Using a machine learning algorithm, the Diabits app builds a personalized model of your blood sugar. The model gives you estimates of your blood sugar up to 60 minutes ahead of time to help you better understand how different stimulus impact your blood sugar trends, and how to better avoid highs and lows.

The Diabits app ("the app") is designed to demonstrate the potential value of estimating blood sugar in order to assist with diabetes management. The estimates of blood sugar in the Diabits app should only be considered in direct conjunction with the data from your continuous glucose monitor ("CGM"). Always refer to the measurement made by your CGM before making any corrections with food, insulin, or otherwise. Do not use the Diabits app to determine insulin dose, or to control an insulin pump or other sort of insulin delivery system. The Diabits app is not intended to replace any self-monitoring practices, or other treatment methods prescribed by your primary care provider. The data displayed in the Diabits app, including the blood sugar estimates, the measured value, or any other details about your blood sugar trends should not be taken as fact. Only your CGM itself may be considered a fully accurate source from which to view or receive data from your CGM. The estimates in the Diabits app are made by a machine learning algorithm and may or may not be representative of your actual blood sugar in the future. The machine learning model which powers the Diabits app takes between three and seven days to learn your personal physiology, and will become more accurate with continued use. The Diabits app, by default, sets the low boundary of your target range at 70 mg/dL or 3.9 mmol/L. The high boundary is set at 180 mg/dL or 10 mmol/L. You may change these values at any time, and should set your target range boundaries based on the recommendation of your primary care provider.

So… is this the end?

App takes me to a website regarding a sister app.. Endobits. Fortunately I can use my same account I had with Diabits, and looks to have direct connection to Dexcom again. The predictive high and low notifications are what I love about Diabits. Wouldn’t want to do without them.

Bad

Works fine in the beginning and then stops loading or reading and always says “error” or “ support” I’ve reached out to the support team but haven’t got any help.

Very expensive

App doesn’t indicate there is cost to use until you set it up and then find out the costs are outrageously expensive. Very sad state that we are in the companies try to rip off off people who are suffering with a life illness. I would not recommend this product

Best diabetes app on the market!!

No other app compares! Love the new UI and the predictions are awesome

Excellent app

This is my favourite app ever! So happy I found it. Can’t recommend this more ! I’m glad I’m diabetic so I can see all the predictions of my glucose levels. Best app ever!!

Accurate and useful

After a couple days of reading my data, the predictions were very accurate. Developers are responsive and helpful whenever I need to reach out to them for any reason. They are still refining the app, but it’s already accurate and useful for helping me manage my type 1 and that of my kid.

Good but...

It can READ Nightscout but it doesn’t support WRITING to Nightscout. I’m totally fine paying a subscription for a good reader that is working properly, but I definitely prefer keeping my data in Nightscout and be able to follow it from there instead of just an keeping in some (even a good one) app. I definitely will return when you add that feature.

Accurate predictions!

This is a brilliant app. My son has type 1 diabetes and I can see his predictions from my phone. So far they have been really accurate and helpful. Highly recommended!

An elegant app with a sophisticated prediction algorithm!

T1D for 12 years, on an insulin pump. This app is a great addition to my management tools. Analytics page has a lot of info about my glucose control and really helps with fine tuning settings!
