Careful when using this app. Your money is GONE once you pay for a service. If you are lucky and get what you need, good for you, else forget about your money. I’m paid for two people, only one showed up and I never got my refund or response from any follow up messages I sent them. The number on their app sends you to a spam “medical services provider “ who will give you the directory phone number if you ask them for a phone number to reach someone at Diem.

I downloaded this app to book cleaning services. Booked something and then changed my mind. Found out there is no way to cancel a service on the app. Texted the contact number and also sent emails. No response. Charge has now appeared on my credit card for a service not received.

I was looking for house keeping and found an app called DIEM that said I could put in a request and would be contacted with a job assignment.  The app stated no money would be put on my credit card until the work was completed and approved. I waited 3 hours and no one contacted me so I cancelled the job.  The app accepted the cancellation and in written information on the app I was told I would receive a refund. I then called the phone number on the app and was told by an employee that my refund was approved because money should not have been taken from my credit card without the job being assigned. After a week with no refund I called again and was told to wait another week. After the second week I called and texted and was told by both call and text that my refund was on the way.  After a week and a half I texted again and received no response from DIEM so started a dispute with my credit card company.  This app promises no money charged until work is done but took my money immediately after I put the request on the app, the work was never assigned or completed, and my money has been promised to me as a refund for 2.5 weeks now and I have not received it.

### *---- "Absolute Disaster, be careful if you are in Canada"
So I am in canada and app has Us and Canada phone number/ texts for help. You assume when u are in Canada all the prices are Canadian but they are not! They tell u( it is in their description) that you wont be charged till they assign somebody to the job and after confirmation, the third party will hold a small amount just at first and rest will be charged after. Guess what, all wrong. I booked a cleaner at 11 am for the next day, till 6 pm they had nobody to assign the work to and the full amount plus the exchange rate was charged to my credit card! I called maybe 10 times and emailed the same just to cancel this order. I needed my apartment get cleaned the day after and they wanted to keep me waiting till the last second to magically find somebody for this job. The customer service answers the phone( and they all have strong accent, so difficult to understand them) and they were keep telling me we will get back to u in an hour. Finally at 6 pm i was able to cancel this order and i am just hoping i dont lose money on exchange rate!!! Why the hell somebody in Canada pays US dollars for cleaning??? I call this a scam. And you should be able to confirm max in an hour, not 10 hours!!!

Update after a week: they havent reimbursed me yet! One week holding to my money and keep telling me they will take care of that. I opened a case with Visa so be aware, looks like a scam company

They do not vet the people that provide services, they do not care if the job is not done properly, I opened a dispute with video and picture evidence of a paint job that looked like a toddler painted my walls!! Nothing was done!!
Save your money and get a reputable business instead.

Diemer canceled the first time because he didn’t have his tools and the second time he never even bothered to connect or show up. Very unprofessional. They have mentioned that they’ll issue a full refund, which I do appreciate but I don’t think I’ll use this service again.

I got a cleaner and it was supposed to be another person. The person I hired wasn't the one who came they sent someone else. The person spent 4 hours cleaning one room which was barely dirty and another hour each on tiny bathrooms. I filed a dispute and they offered me a coupon code and tried justifying why the worker wasn't able to come and sent someone else they were unaware of.

Services were good, but the app has flaws. And customer service is literally non-existant. Needed to cancel an order and app wouldnt let me scroll down far enough to click cancel lol. After calling and texting the numbers they have for customer service with absolutely no answer I gave up.

I hired Diem home services to clean in Edmonton, CA. For one bedroom apartment. The person arrived at time, however, he asked me to extended the services and I did. After the time was out I went to my apartment and the only things cleaned was bathroom, stoven and oven. 

I submitted a complain because I don’t see any point to paid 4.5 hours to clean 3 things. The diem cleaner not even sweep the floor, clean my fridge or cabinets. Nothing.

The manager just offer me 10% because the dimes showed the job was done properly, which is not true and I sent all the photos and videos in how my apartment looks like. 

I won’t recommend this services to anyone. Too much time consuming for what get done.

Buyer beware! We purchased a house cleaning service, they sent over randoms and they basically scammed us. They through comet cleaner all over the house and basically rubbed it all over with the same rag. We had hairs on our walls, crumbs and dust on our floors, our shower tiles and glass door have a thick white film of chemicals, all of our mirrors all filled with white film, we had to not only clean over everything they did but we also had to open all the windows for the entire day because of what seemed like a life times worth of chemical cleaners. The smell lasted 2 nights. We wanted a clean house, not a murder cover up.
We contacted their support; and they were no help. They basically told is that we got what we paid for. Avoid this DIEM. they don’t care. When looking online afterwards I saw that this was happening to others, same scam.

Beware if you're in Canada. I booked two services in advance. The cleaner didn't show up despite the guaranteed appointment and I had to cancel the moving services since there was no one picking the job.

 All those services “completed near me” seems like a pre-generated data. Not worth the headache.
