A witchy companion and complete set of wiccan tools designed for your spiritual journey — not a productivity app. Automatic Moon Phase & Moon Sign Tracker: Stop looking up moon phases manually. Every entry is automatically tagged with the current moon phase, moon sign, zodiac position, and lunar illumination. As a built-in moon sign tracker, it tells you instantly whether tonight's waning crescent in Scorpio favors release work or if the waxing moon in Taurus supports abundance spells. Your lunar calendar is always up to date — no internet required. Spell Reminders & Follow-Ups — The Feature Other Apps Miss: Set spell reminders at 1 hour, 3 days, 30 days, or any custom interval after casting your spell. Get a gentle notification asking "How did it manifest?" and log your observations in a pre-filled review form. Complete the loop on every spell casting and deepen your understanding of what works. Built-In Tarot Reader with Card Meanings: Draw tarot spreads directly in your grimoire. Choose from 5 spread types including single card, three-card, and Celtic Cross. Every draw includes upright and reversed tarot card meanings, so reading tarot cards has never felt more personal. Save card reading meanings as journal entries linked to your spell work and moon data. Purpose-Built Journal Entries: Spells — cast and document wicca spells and wiccan spells including protection spells, love spells, money spells, and luck spells. Full Book of Shadows template with intent, ingredients, ritual steps, mood, weather, and follow-up scheduling. Dreams — track symbols, emotions, lucid dreams, and interpretations. Rituals — step-by-step checklists with full Wheel of the Year Sabbat integration (Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lughnasadh, Mabon) so every sabbat finds its place in your grimoire. Sigils — a sigil design workspace to create, document, and activate your personal symbols with intent and activation notes. Quick Notes — capture fleeting insights in seconds. Voice Notes — Record spoken reflections, chants, or dream recollections with voice-to-text transcription. Attach audio notes to any entry type. Biometric Lock & Total Privacy: Your grimoire is for your eyes only. Protect it with fingerprint or face unlock. No account required. No social features. No cloud sync. Everything stays on your device. Designed for practitioners in the broom closet — notifications use discreet wording that reveals nothing to onlookers. Insights & Pattern Recognition: Discover which moon phases bring your strongest spell results. See your most-used ingredients, track mood patterns across lunar cycles, view spell outcomes over time, and revisit "On This Day" entries from past practice. Your data reveals what works for you. Browse & Search Your Practice: Find any entry instantly with full-text search. Filter by entry type, moon phase, moon sign, tags, or date range. Switch between grid, list, and calendar views. View active or archived entries with a tap. Designed as Sacred Space: Dark mode by default with a midnight blue and gold aesthetic inspired by antique grimoires. Cinzel and Cormorant Garamond typography. Page-turn animations. Every detail crafted to feel like opening a real Book of Shadows. Offline-First, Always: Moon calculations, tarot readings, journaling — everything works without WiFi. Take your grimoire into the woods, to the altar, or anywhere your practice calls you. Your craft ebbs and flows like the moon. Book of Shadows is here for every phase — a witchy companion and complete set of wiccan tools for every turn of the wheel. Free download. No ads. Another con. I didn’t find out until today after using it for a week or so that it only allows you FIVE entries (and no extras like even being able to add the moon phase etc, really?) before it locks you behind a paywall and makes it useless unless you fork out the money for full access. I only needed this temporarily until my physical book is up to date so I figured this would be a good option to store current info until then. Apparently not. 5 entries is not going to be enough. I went thru the trouble of exporting my info on my phone so I could use it on my iPad without retyping everything a second time only to find this out. How disappointing and what a waste of time. I get lifetime access but at $35? Pass on it unless you want to pay this exhorbitant fee. This may not be worth the cost as eventually I may stop using it once my physical book (which I prefer) is up to date making it a waste of money. -- mzkuriosity25, 2026-06-24 ### ***-- "Beautifully designed" The only issue is under your sections. I created a section for essential oils but even from the entry screen it doesn’t show this section so it’s impossible to add entries. Sent a message to support. Will give 5 stars if this gets fixed. -- RavenMystic55, 2026-05-21 [View all Digital Book of Shadows reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Digital Book of Shadows In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Book of Shadows Unlock | $34.99 | ## Apps Similar to Digital Book of Shadows - [Sabbat](https://apptail.io/app/sabbat-pTVp/united-states) - [Witchy Coven](https://apptail.io/app/witchy-coven-CQhu/united-states) - [The Mystic Raven](https://apptail.io/app/the-mystic-raven-LVLu/united-states) - [Wicca: Wiccan & Witchcraft](https://apptail.io/app/wicca-wiccan-witchcraft-nidv/united-states) - [My Inner Witch](https://apptail.io/app/my-inner-witch-gvkv/united-states) - [Witchcraft: Wicca Witch Spells](https://apptail.io/app/witchcraft-wicca-witch-spells-Qvpv/united-states) - [Ritualyn](https://apptail.io/app/ritualyn-NUKx/united-states) - [Witchly: Create Custom Spells](https://apptail.io/app/witchly-create-custom-spells-JoOx/united-states) - [Wicca - Calendar and guide](https://apptail.io/app/wicca-calendar-and-guide-bBVy/united-states) - [Witch's Companion-Moon & Tarot](https://apptail.io/app/witchs-companion-moon-tarot-tWez/united-states) ## Digital Book of Shadows Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/united-states) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/australia) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/united-kingdom) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/switzerland) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/germany) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/denmark) - [Honduras](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/honduras) - [Hungary](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/hungary) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/ireland) - [Mauritius](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/mauritius) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/netherlands) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/norway) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/russia) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/argentina) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/south-africa) - [Austria](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/austria) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/digital-book-of-shadows-eOAz/canada) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
