But it doesn't tell you which direction the camera was facing, or the angular size of what you saw. Directional Camera fills that gap. It transforms your device into a survey-grade instrument, burning critical orientation data directly into the image for permanent documentation. BUILT FOR PROFESSIONALS Whether you are a scientist documenting field phenomena, an engineer on a construction site, or an investigator gathering evidence, precise data matters. Directional Camera provides the context that standard metadata leaves out. KEY CAPABILITIES Precise Orientation: Instantly visualize the camera's Azimuth (Compass Direction) and Pitch (Elevation Angle) relative to the horizon. Angular Measurement Grid: Use the overlay grid to estimate the real-world angular size and scale of distant objects. Data-Rich Overlay: Every photo includes a stamped footer with timestamp, GPS coordinates, altitude (MSL), and orientation data, ready for reports and archives. IDEAL FOR: Field Research: Document weather patterns, geological formations, and biological surveys. Construction & Engineering: Verify site alignment and document progress with directional context. Forensics & Investigation: Capture evidence with irrefutable orientation data. Site Scouting: Plan solar installations or architectural framing by tracking sun position and viewing angles. Stop guessing what you were looking at. Capture the full picture with Directional Camera. ## Directional Camera Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/47/53/4e/47534ec9-958a-3195-7773-bb435bdc3ab7/Bearing.jpg/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/a3/17/16/a3171603-4283-f0f8-36a2-b5badd344910/Angular_Size.jpg/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/82/37/f2/8237f2e4-28a6-130e-75c4-8a9f667affec/Geolocation.jpg/1290x2796.png) ## Directional Camera Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 3 (100%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## Directional Camera Reviews in United States ### ***** "Helpful for height estimation" Used it to calculate the size of a tree. -- Security_Nerd, 2026-05-26 [View all Directional Camera reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Directional Camera Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Paid | Colombia | Navigation | #175 | ## Apps Similar to Directional Camera - [ParkVictoria](https://apptail.io/app/parkvictoria-LQf/united-states) - [BikeLink Bike Parking](https://apptail.io/app/bikelink-bike-parking-wyO/united-states) - [SF Muni Buses](https://apptail.io/app/sf-muni-buses-cbT/united-states) - [Stay-N-Charge](https://apptail.io/app/stay-n-charge-lHQb/united-states) - [PlaneWatcher](https://apptail.io/app/planewatcher-TYMc/united-states) - [Tripbucket Mobile App](https://apptail.io/app/tripbucket-mobile-app-hWWc/united-states) - [CamSextant](https://apptail.io/app/camsextant-bwHd/united-states) - [Grizzl-E Connect](https://apptail.io/app/grizzl-e-connect-itWn/united-states) - [Rainge](https://apptail.io/app/rainge-ETWt/united-states) - [Commuter Widgets](https://apptail.io/app/commuter-widgets-xjTw/united-states) ## Directional Camera Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/united-states) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/colombia) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/ecuador) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/israel) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/south-korea) - [Sri Lanka](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/sri-lanka) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/mexico) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/malaysia) - [Nepal](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/nepal) - [Oman](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/oman) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/philippines) - [Pakistan](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/pakistan) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/saudi-arabia) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/singapore) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/thailand) - [Tunisia](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/tunisia) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/taiwan) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/argentina) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/directional-camera-jHry/vietnam) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
