I almost gave up on this app, blaming the app for been frozen and not functioning at all.  Then I tried a different phone (not iPhone) and the app works perfectly. I am so frustrated from a lack of assistance from Dischem-Kaelo. I have a sick 3 year old whose been coughing since May 2024, and have been put on various cough medication and antibiotics that didn’t improve his condition. He’s got a very dry cough, runny nose, fever in the middle of the night, he complains about pain in the head and neck but Dischem-Kaelo keeps saying it’s not an emergency. A GP gave us a referral but Dischem-Kaelo still refuses to cover even when I’m on a comprehensive MyHealth Plus cover. I wonder how bad he’s supposed to be to finally get further assistance from a specialist or hospital? Today he was sent back from daycare, and we were told not to take him back until he’s okay. How do we do this when we have jobs to go to? We tried the OPD at Arwyp Hospital and were turned back because Dischem-Kaelo says they need a diagnosis. Who is supposed to give a diagnosis if he can’t be seen by a specialist, because the GP’s letter is not proof enough that the child needs specialised assistance?
