It really is an amazing app

I love everything about this app, a must have for music lovers. Especially vinyl! I get annoyed that you can’t backtrack sometimes, you get thrown back to the start screen when backing out of a search query specifically

Good companion to the site, but…

I like and use this app a lot, but it can’t replace using the website. I understand that it’s hard/impossible to build in all features from the site to the app, without making the app a complete mess to use. Not a problem if slightly annoying at times. Some things are actually easier to navigate in the app, which I appreciate, so all in all a nice companion to the site. A thing that has always bothered me with the app is looking at a band with an extensive discography, is the way their releases are sorted. I can’t understand why it’s not like on the site with in order of release but also sorted after albums, singles etc. Now for the really bad part. For the last couple of years the app is suffering from some really big problems. 1. The need to login most of the time when opening the app. Sometimes I can just shut down the app and when I reopen I’m logged in. 2. The app shuts down often when I’m browsing bands or releases. It was really bad when browsing my want list, where if I scrolled to fast it would shut down. 3. My collection needs to rebuild every time I open the app. It also changes my preferred sorting. This is without a doubt the biggest problem I have with the app. It makes the collection part practically worthless when out in the wild and I need to check if I have a release.

Fantastic to be able to search and find all records. But bad app with old tech. Needs to be rebuilt from the gound up.

Market plattform and collection organizer

I bought +200 records from Discogs and i have organised all my 2200 records in discogs. I think that this plattform is absolutely phantastic and i would not like to live without it. When ever i buy a new record i check that it is not already in my collection. I have recomended it to my friends. Really great!!
