I like and use this app a lot, but it can’t replace using the website. I understand that it’s hard/impossible to build in all features from the site to the app, without making the app a complete mess to use. Not a problem if slightly annoying at times. Some things are actually easier to navigate in the app, which I appreciate, so all in all a nice companion to the site. A thing that has always bothered me with the app is looking at a band with an extensive discography, is the way their releases are sorted. I can’t understand why it’s not like on the site with in order of release but also sorted after albums, singles etc. Now for the really bad part. For the last couple of years the app is suffering from some really big problems. 1. The need to login most of the time when opening the app. Sometimes I can just shut down the app and when I reopen I’m logged in. 2. The app shuts down often when I’m browsing bands or releases. It was really bad when browsing my want list, where if I scrolled to fast it would shut down. 3. My collection needs to rebuild every time I open the app. It also changes my preferred sorting. This is without a doubt the biggest problem I have with the app. It makes the collection part practically worthless when out in the wild and I need to check if I have a release.

I bought +200 records from Discogs and i have organised all my 2200 records in discogs. I think that this plattform is absolutely phantastic and i would not like to live without it. When ever i buy a new record i check that it is not already in my collection. I have recomended it to my friends. Really great!!

I’m unable to login even though I’ve tried multiple different emails, usernames and passwords. Sometimes your username works and sometimes the same username doesn’t work and even when it works there is always something else that does not work. I was not able to create an account this one time because i hadn’t done the (I’m not a robot verification), even though I had just done it like 3s ago. And when i finally got done with that i was not able to log in BECAUSE MY EMAIL WAS ALREADY REGISTERD TO THE PLATFORM. And when i tried to log in to the supposedly already existing account with a changed password it didn’t exist. 0/10

This app is virtually a mirrored and simplified version of the website. Nothing wrong with that, works like a charm to do the most common stuff in terms of collecting and selling. But recently it’s just a bit too much that have turned wonky and buggy after recent updates. Text rows that are all over the place, filters that doesn’t apply or emails that aren’t getting marked as read etc. Still usable, but not on a path of improvements. Also worth mentioning is the ever increasing ban list of releases Discogs continues enforce. That alone could be a one star review… Not the development one wants to see… if it continues there needs to be a alternative on this market.
