It’s frustrating. -- tasha star, 2026-04-16 ### *---- "So many bugs!!!" I was a great fan of the app, and had it before it was taken over by Rodgers, and now it’s riddled with so many bugs enjoying any show has become near impossible. The number of times they stop it for commercials borders on ridiculous, and it now wants to start another episode when you are halfway through your current one. I am very dissatisfied and contemplating removing it!!!! -- nikyadhuombzd, 2026-04-15 ### *---- "WTF Rogers?!" The app is total garbage since Rogers took over. Where do I begin? Crashes constantly, drops connection during AirPlay since you of course can no longer download it on any* SmartTV. Can’t multitask while watching on your device, doesn’t save from the last place you left off while watching so you have to restart each episode. I could go on, but you get the picture. GET IT TOGETHER ROGERS -- Rachael Lopez, 2026-04-14 ### *---- "Terrible app" Cuts off the show as soon as a commercial comes on -- Sophie_37, 2026-04-14 ### ***-- "Good but could be better" Love the shows that are offered but wish it can be PiP, unable to do anything on your phone while show is playing because it closes the app -- ReneeSMW, 2026-04-12 ### *---- "Genuinely awful app" I initially thought the reviews must be exaggerating due to preferring the old app. As a new user I figured I would have a better experience jumping into it fresh. I was wrong. It’s truly the worst streaming app out there. UI is unintuitive, it freezes constantly, every time a new episode starts the subtitles turn on, despite clearly still being marked as disabled in the settings. Fast forwarding or rewinding crashes the app half the time, and the “skip 10 seconds” buttons seems to skip you anywhere from 1-10 seconds instead. Makes you appreciate CBC Gem, which is about all there is to say about that. -- I really tried to be ok, 2026-04-10 ### *---- "Brutal …" This app is so useless… I can’t find a positive… it was even hard to cancel … -- Review guy other, 2026-04-09 ### *---- "Worse app ever" This app should be pulled from apples store. This app is full of so many bugs Fix it -- Tylerdude82, 2026-04-09 ### *---- "Why was the app changed when the other wasn’t broken?" A lot of the times the “continue” tab won’t show and the next episode won’t start I have to do it manually and it crashes frequently. I canceled my subscription until all of this is fixed -- Mrnukethe1st, 2026-04-08 ### *---- "Awful, glitches galore" I don’t normally write reviews for apps but this new discovery plus app is AWFUL! I wish I could give negative starts! It glitches, won’t ever open on the first try. Part way through watching a show when it’s supposed to go to an ad it goes to the next episode and then when trying to get back to the original episode it starts from the beginning with multiple sets of ads trying to get to where you left off. One of the worst apps I’ve ever used. -- Allie02072017, 2026-04-07 [View all discovery+ reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## discovery+ In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | discovery+ (Ad-Free) | $8.99 | | discovery+ | $5.99 | ## discovery+ Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Grossing | Canada | Entertainment | #44 | | Top Free | Canada | Entertainment | #135 | ## discovery+ Discovered Keywords - tv show - discovery channel - discovery - discovery stream tv shows - discovery plus --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
