## Dish Align Description
Dish Align is a simple yet powerful app for alignment of the satellite dish. It allows you to select exact location of the dish and requested satellite, them shows you you can align the dish to get proper signals. 
It has a built-in compass specially designed to simulate the dish as your iPhone, so you will get the exact direction of the dish to be pointed. 

As of version 1.2, Dish Align supports dynamic satellite list. If changes need to be done to satellite list or a satellite positioned incorrectly, drop us a line in Feedback section. 

There is a small ad at the bottom of page which keeps the production going and make the app free. However if you don't like it, upgrade to No Ad version and all advertisements will be gone.

This one is a very powerful tool for getting your sat setup. I’ve installled dishes for a living and recommend this for the DIY people.  Good Luck!
 Read up on how to align a dish. If you don’t have time see below.
Always follow these steps.
1. Ensure the mast is plumb. This is a critical step. Don’t skip it. 
2. Set the skew. And leave it. No further changes should be necessary to the skew. Adjust the elevation. This will require fine tuning.
3. Set the dish on the mast and aim for the satellite azimuth. Again fine tuning.

Use your sat signal strength screen on your tv to see what you have and fine tune for the highest possible signal.

Keep in mind that a lack of phone cell towers can affect the accuracy as well as power lines ,metal structures.

So i lined my own sat dish up by the tv and sat align function in options. Way ive always done it in the past its a patience thing and small movements to get the signal right. Anyway i was working on repairs in my trailer and decided to set up the dish and tripod to watch tv while i repaired. And i lined the bugger up worked like a charm. Got the idea that hmm maybe there is a app to make this easier when we go places. 

It was already lined up so i turned on the app and see if it showed the same and it did so i thought sweet. Took a trip in a few days a overnighter and wanted to set up the dish and ya know what incouldnt get it to come close to finding a signal. Infinally gave up and watched a movie instead. 

Next morning after hubby left tried it again with dish align . No dice, went back to the old standby and got it aligned and did it again my way when i got home
Again. So i dont know folks if these things work or not seemed simple enough app and straight forward but when it showed in green and aligned i had no signal.

Nicely set up and easy to use but in my area it is out by about 15° which coincidentaly the amount of the magnetic declination here. Same result on multiple satellites. At least I can look up the settings in the app and then use a compass.

Had high hopes for this app but its a dud so far. I wish developers of such apps would include (numbered) steps on how to use it on a actual sample sattelite. As it is now, I am stuck on "select the Sattelite screen" and I dont see ANY to select from!  Disapointed to say the least!
