Description

Dish Align is a simple yet powerful app for alignment of the satellite dish. It allows you to select exact location of the dish and requested satellite, them shows you you can align the dish to get proper signals.
It has a built-in compass specially designed to simulate the dish as your iPhone, so you will get the exact direction of the dish to be pointed.

As of version 1.2, Dish Align supports dynamic satellite list. If changes need to be done to satellite list or a satellite positioned incorrectly, drop us a line in Feedback section.

There is a small ad at the bottom of page which keeps the production going and make the app free. However if you don't like it, upgrade to No Ad version and all advertisements will be gone.

Satellite found !

Awesome app found Astra 2 in no time, having used another App that put it some where else

Satellite finder

Excellent app to find satellite.

Inaccurate

After a recent storm, my dish had been knocked off alignment. I downloaded this app and initially thought it was excellent, showing an intended angle and giving a confirmation beep to show when it was aligned. Unfortunately it didn’t work and a second try showed the angle previously signalled as correct, now spot on. I assume as this uses GPS for location, it’s a precise as GPS is, which is not very ! I ended up putting my set top box on signal strength, pointing a webcam at it, then viewing the webcam on my phone whilst adjusting the dish to get best strength. The app is a bit of a gimmick really.

Not very good

This app is really not very accurate. The azimuth is at least 7 degrees off on the Astra 28.2 satellites.

Was fantastic noe just ok

I use it with my sky box with my caravan, the search bar doesn’t work , a right royal PIA

Satalites keep on moving ?

Using an iPhone 8+ should be no bother, but after recalibrated compass on phone still kept moving satellites in different directions

Clear (or any) instructions would be useful rather than an irritating sound and directional signal that change randomly. Hour up a ladder and no better than when we started. Useless

Address search

Prior to arriving at an installation, I could type in the postcode, and it would show me the direction the dish needed to be on an overlay map. This would help with knowing where best on the building to install, access etc. Now it doesn’t accept it. Was soooo helpful when you could use it to plan.

Just get it.

Fantastic, Simple to use. Read the reviews all bar 2 people give it excellent reviews. Those 2 people must be doing it wrong.
