For years, I use Veracrypt on my PC (Linux). Now, I started to use this nice app. It seems to be very nice, because I can open my Veracrypt files. Thanks!

Description
Disk Decipher allows mobile access to your encrypted virtual disks. Do you have your passwords or other sensitive information stored in a VeraCrypt or TrueCrypt container or FreeOTFE, LUKS or DMG volume? Disk Decipher will allow you to access that information from your iPhone or iPad.
Disk Decipher currently supports:
- Multiple disks
- Storage provider: local filesystem (transfer the disk image from another app using the Open In menu, using iTunes to transfer disk images or importing from other apps supporting document providing)
- Storage provider: remote (Disk Decipher will download only the necessary parts of the disk image, allowing access to disk images of arbitrary size. More details are available on the support website)
- Remote storage providers: HTTP/HTTPS (WEBDAV), NFS, Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive and OneDrive for Business, Box, pCloud, S3, SugarSync
- Storage provider: linked (Disk Decipher will access the container stored in another app using the iOS File Provider. More details are available on the support website)

Hele goede app!
Hele goede app, je kan er alles mee vergrendelen en open zelfs op ipad, en voor maar 3 euro heb je format exfat! Je kan ook je bestanden zien in de app van apple "bestanden" maar af en toe komen de fotos/ bestanden daar dubbel in. Hopelijk word dit nog verholpen. Als je het mapje opnieuw opent staat het weer goed dat wel
New version problems
My container file is a 500 MB file stored in icloud drive. If I try accessing it with the plus button on the top then either as a local file or a linked file, the thumbnail appears greyed on the file provider pop-up. Is there a size limitation in IOS here ? Worse: if I try the old way, using “open in” in the files app, the file gets transferred and can be opened in disk decipher, but if you close and reopen the disk decipher, the file is gone. Bit awkward to use this way.
Great app to access encrypted files.
When you are aware of the dangers of the privacy of your data you do not want to transfer anything over the internet unencrypted. So smart people encrypt. With this tool you can access your file containers on your ios device when you need to take a peek. This app works like a charm. Make sure you get it and use it. Don't forget to make a donation. The app developer works hard on it.

Werkt niet
Werkt niet op mijn tablet! Krijg niet te zien openen met. Jammer.
Prima app
Werkt prima. Ik heb een TrueCrypt container van een halve MB op dropbox staan. In die beveiligde container staat mijn KeePass bestand. Beiden zijn dus encrypted en voorzien van een lang wachtwoord. Het openmaken van de truecrypt container gaat uitstekend met Disk Decipher. Enige nadeel is dat als ik het KeePass bestand wil openen, Disk Decipher dat niet vanuit de container kan maar dan moet er een lokale kopie worden gemaakt. Ik verlies dan mijn dubbele beveiliging. Maar voor eventjes is dat niet erg.
No NTFS
The description lacks info on the ability to mount NTFS, so I didn't expect it to, but I hereby like to stress it. A nessecety I don't wanna call it, but it sure makes life more easy if NTFS-support will come to the app. The only reason I like to use NTFS comes from the desktop side: dynamic size. 5 stars when I see NTFS soonish. Dit programma werkt fantastisch. DE manier om bestanden beveiligd te kunnen overzetten van Windows naar de Apple omgeving. Naast een mooi programma werkt de helpdesk zeer servicegericht. Ik kan het echt aanbevelen.
