I was excited to find a native iOS/macOS app that supports VeraCrypt including write support. The developer is very reactive and already implemented 2 feature requests of mine. Couldn‘t ask for more!

Here, Disk Decipher is used to directly display content (PDF library) that was previously packed into encrypted read-only APFS DMG files with Mac Sonoma and then uploaded to the cloud (here pCloud). This works flawlessly even with larger libraries - well done! For this reason, Disk Decipher is one of my must-have programs. But the potential of Disk Decipher goes even further. For example, its read and write functions for APFS.sparsebundle files can be used to add more sophisticated scenarios.

Die App tut das, was sie verspricht, und das für praktisch kein Geld. Auch die Integration mit Dropbox funktioniert wie beschrieben. Besonders lobenswert: Dateien werden erst beim Datenaustausch mit einer anderen App und auch dann erst nach Rückfrage in den Flash-Speicher des iPad (oder iPhone) geschrieben, so dass keine dauerhaften Spuren von sensiblen Daten hinterlassen werden. Was noch fehlt ist, dass man in einem Textfile suchen kann. Zudem wäre es schön, wenn die App Open Source wäre (so wie TrueCrypt auch). Ich würde trotzdem jederzeit wieder einen Franken dafür bezahlen.

Update 8 Jahre später: An meinem Urteil hat sich nichts geändert. Über die Jahre hat der Entwickler immer wieder Verbesserungen gemacht, die wichtigste davon für mich, dass auch VeraCrypt Crypt Container geöffnet werden können (Dateiendung .vc statt .tc). So hat diese App auch nach dem Quasi-Tod von TrueCrypt bei mir ihren festen Platz im geräteübergreifenden Passwortmanagement behauptet. Prädikat: Essentiell!

Génial! Enfin un programme pour ouvrir des archives cryptées sur iOS. Il est en plus rapide et d'une interface sobre. Et de plus pour un prix très bas. Bravo!

Il manque juste, je trouve, une meilleure intégration de dropbox, afin de pouvoir directement naviguer dans les fichiers depuis le programme.

App does exactly what the name claims, it 'deciphers' encrypted containers like e.g. TrueCrypt volumes - it does nothing less but also nothing more. Thus deciphering i.e. reading - works great but there is no cipher or write possibility to add more files to a encrypted container. 
The interface requires quite knowledge, YOU HAVE TO READ THE GUIDE (RTFM) else you have no chance to use this app. But the documentation is good and understandable.

But at the end your work pays out. I managed to perfectly integrate 'Dropbox' with a 'TrueCrypt'-Volume. There is no other app that can do that at the moment, so far as I know.

Hint: USE FILE EXTENSION '.tc' else you run into problems on iPad.
