I newly downloaded & subscribed to Disney+ on 21/01/2025. It doesn’t play on my Amazon fire tv stick, it just freezes. However, it plays on my iPhone. I reached out to the online support and they were asking for my card details and IP address to fix this issue. Ridiculous!

As the title says, the app itself is pretty basic, unable to remove stuff from watchlist, very buggy in that once a show is completed it won’t remove from continue watching section, also multiple shows get “stuck” in watchlist and no matter how many times you remove them they just say there. Have tried all troubleshoots and reaching out to customer service/ tech support and nothing.

Great app but regularly goes out of sync so you need to rewind 10 seconds then it’s fixed. If you pause at the end of an episode it will still auto play the next one too. Also restarts episodes from scratch when you close it and go back in sometimes. Minor bugs but good other than that!

I was watching Star Wars for the first time and I click on the third movie (the one I’m up to) and the hugest plot twist is written in the small summary. WHICH IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE ANY SPOILERS MIGHT I ADD. this ruined Star Wars completely for me which I was really enjoying and anticipating the third movie until Disney plus went and ruined it.

The catalogue is huge.  There is something for everyone here and always new content coming through.  Even though there was a price rise last year, I still subscribe to this as it’s such good value.  

I’m a big fan of Marvel and Star Wars, so I’m happy! But even if those don’t float your boat, there’s so much more in shows and films across the board.

On both my iPads and iPhone the app thinks that there is no storage left, despite having over 100GB of free space on all devices. Can’t download anything, can’t clear it. Deleting the app does nothing, same issue after reinstalling. Only way to resolve the issue appears to be to wipe the entire device. 

Oh and if you do manage to download something, it will randomly delete it for no reason with no warning.

On the whole it is user friendly. I wish they would highlight and make the boxes bigger when scrolling looking for something to watch.

My issue is it’s the worst streaming app ever. Which is saying something because Now tv are pretty diabolical. Streaming quality is poor, buffering, clarity and blurriness to name a few major issues. Trying to watch the new goosebumps and it just keeps blinking to a black screen. What’s the point in subscribing to a service that is so shocking. You can rarely just watch an episode or film with no issues. As much as I’m not a fan of Netflix at least you can watch their app with zero issues. I can watch other apps,stream the tv shows with zero issues. I only have problems on the Disney app on my smart tv and yes it is up to date.
