## Dive Log Description
Dive Log is ontworpen om als je primaire duiklogboek programma the werken of samen met compatibele derde partij desktop logboek programma's. Je kunt Dive Log gebruiken op de duikstek of op de boot om informatie over de locatie the verzamelen wanneer hij nog vers in je geheugen ligt (of dat van de duikgids). Je kunt zelfs de GPS coordinaten ophalen en bij de duikstek gegevens opslaan met behulp van de locatie services van je iOS apparaat. Details over je werkelijke duik kunnen toegevoegd worden direct ná de duik of tijdens / na de debriefing. Later kunnen deze gegevens dan opgeslagen worden op je desktop computer.
De duik buddy functionaliteit is volledig geïntegreerd met de Adresboek applicatie op je iPhone of iPad, zodat je alle gegevens van de nieuwe duik buddy direct op kunt slaan of snel een reeds bestaande duik buddy toe kunt voegen aan een specifieke duik. De opgeslagen duik gegevens en statistieken geven je direct de antwoorden die nodig zijn als een duik gids je bijvoorbeeld vraagt hoeveel lood je gebruikt hebt tijdens je laatste duik, maar ook heb je alle gegevens over je duik geschiedenis bij de hand wanneer je de volgende duik ontheffing in moet vullen.
Wanneer je de profielen van populaire duikcomputers hebt gedownload naar je desktop computer (met daarvoor geschikte programma's), kun je deze na synchronisatie met je iPhone/iPad, ook daarop bestuderen.
Er kan gekozen worden voor Metrische en Imperiale waardes welke worden ondersteund in alle relevante velden. Je kunt eenvoudig waardes invoeren met de geselecteerde eenheden voor de betreffende situatie, en later terugkijken in je voorkeurs eenheden. 

Op Windows is Diving Log 6.0 (www.divinglog.de) volledig geïntegreerd met Dive Log op iPhone/iPad en het heeft ook ingebouwde synchronisatie. Diving Log 6.0 heeft uitgebreide ondersteuning om gegevens te importeren van duikcomputers en andere duiklog programma's. 

Op Mac OS X kan de logboek informatie worden geïmporteerd naar Dive Log op iPhone/iPad door middel van een aantal compatibele programma's door gebruik the maken van het gratis Dive Log Manager programma, eveneens beschikbaar van More Mobile Software (www.moremobilesoftware.com/divelog-sync).

Duik gegevens kunnen direct opgehaald worden met een Bluetooth LE (Bluetooth 4.0/5.0) compatibele iPhone, iPad of iPod touch van Bluetooth LE ondersteunende duik computers zoals de Suunto EON Steel, Suunto EON Core, Suunto D5, Scubapro Galileo 2 (G2), Aladin Sport (Matrix), Aladin H (Matrix), G2 HUD, Aladin A1, Shearwater Teric, Peregrine, Petrel 2, 
Petrel 3, Perdix, Perdix AI, Perdix 2, NERD 2, Oceanic VTX, Pro Plus 4, Geo 4.0, VEO 4.0, Aeris A300CS, Aqualung i300C, i330R, i550C, i750TC, i770R, Apeks DSX, Sherwood Wisdom 4, Mares Genius en bepaalde heinrichs weikamp OSTC computers maar ook de DiveNav Inc. bluebuddy en Tech Buddy duik logger accessoires. Ondersteunde Bluetooth LE accessoires kunnen afzonderlijk aangeschaft worden.

Mares Bluelink Pro is een Bluetooth LE accessoire van Mares en is als separate aanschaf beschikbaar (www.mares.com). De Bluelink Pro stelt je in staat om duik gegevens van bepaalde Mares duik computers (Puck Pro, Smart, Smart Air, Quad and Quad Air) direct in Dive Log op je Bluetooth LE compatible iPhone, iPad of iPod touch te laden.

Dive Computer Buddy (aka DCbuddy) is een Bluetooth LE accessoire van DiveNav Inc. (opmerking: DCbuddy is niet langer beschikbaar). De DCbuddy stelt je in staat om duik gegevens van bepaalde duik computers direct in Dive Log op je Bluetooth LE compatible iPhone, iPad of iPod touch te laden.

Na in-app aankoop zodat synchroniseren met de eon steel werkt, super logboek. Kan alles invullen, terugzoeken op meerdere manieren mogelijk.
Alleen synchronisatie duurt wel even als er veel (zwembad)duikjes geladen moeten worden.

Ik heb veel duik log apps geprobeerd. Deze doet alles wat ik wil. Prima download voor veel duik computers en fijne sync functie tussen iPhone en iPad via iCloud. Bovendien zeer goede ondersteuning door de app ontwikkelaar. Zelfs nieuwe duik computers op aanvraag toegevoegd voor downloads via Bluetooth!

Fijne app, goede synchronisatie met de iPad (wel handmatig, trucje moet je even weten). 
Helaas heb ik nog niet uitgevonden hoe ik mijn duiken uit m’n vorige app, Divers Book, kan importeren. Dat zou ik wel heel fijn vinden, zodat ik al mijn duiken in 1 app heb.

Al vele jaren in gebruik, 
erg tevreden
sync. Tussen iPhone en iPad en visaversa geen probleem. Laatste 3 jaar DC van Sharewater Petrel 2 en Sharewater Controler van JJ rebreather in gebruik. 
Pas dan de duik nummers aan zodat ze chronologisch verlopen.  👍. 

Moet nog uitzoeken of ik al mijn oude duiken via exl. Kan importeren.

Prima app, kan altijd nog beter  :)

I tested many digital logbooks but find this one the best. Specially the combination with dive buddy wireless connection to my dive computer makes it very strong. Way to go!! I would like to see easier ways of adding foto or film to a divelog and even take pictures with my iphone or ipad that are attached straight away... But that will come soon for sure.

Eenvoudig met de desktopapp gegevens van de duikcomputer importeren en syncen naar I-device app. Eventueel aanvullen en je hebt een zeer bruikbaar logboek. 
Sync ook via icloud wat syncen tussen iPad en iPhone echt handig maakt. Wat nog verbeterd zou kunnen worden is foto's van de duik en duikkaarten toevoegen aan het logboek. Inmiddels is deze app met desktopapp hèt logboek voor mij.

Point for improvement: not all fields on iPhone resemble the fields of MacDive on the Mac. Some data entered on iphone might get lost in syncing, since MacDive is leading...

Alhoewel erg compleet en simpel te vullen mis ik één feature; printen. Nu moet ik alsnog gaan overschrijven of syncen met Dive log op pc om blaadjes voor mijn papieren logboek te creëren. Ook jammer dat hij niet kan syncen van iPhone naar iPad. Ook hier de pc als tussenstation nodig. en aangezien Dive log voor Windows nog eens 35 euro kost... Hopelijk in een update. Verder dik tevreden en geld waard.
