## Dive Log Description
Dive Log kann entweder als alleinstehende Logbuch Anwendung verwendet werden oder in Verbindung mit kompatiblen Drittanbieter Logbuch Programmen für den Desktop. Sie können Dive Log direkt am Tauchplatz oder auf dem Tauchboot verwenden um Informationen über den Tauchplatz zu notieren solange sie noch frisch im Gedächtnis (oder im Gedächtnis des Dive Guides) sind. Sie können sogar die GPS Koordinaten des Tauchplatzes mittels der im iOS Gerät eingebauten Ortungsdienste speichern. Details zum aktuellen Tauchgang können direkt danach oder gemütlich am Abend hinzugefügt werden und später auf den Desktop kopiert werden. Die Buddy Funktion ist voll integriert mit den iPhone oder iPad Kontakten. Dadurch lassen sich die Kontaktdaten eines neuen Buddies sehr einfach eingeben oder die eines vorhandenen Buddies zu einem Tauchgang hinzufügen. Die Tauchdaten und Statistiken liefern sofort eine Antwort wenn der Dive Guide das nächste Mal fragt wie viel Blei Sie beim letzten Tauchgang dabei hatten oder beim Ausfüllen des Anmeldeformulars an der Tauchbasis. Alle Daten können sowohl in metrischen oder imperialen Einheiten eingegeben werden und später in der bevorzugten Einheit ausgegeben werden. Es können sogar die Tauchprofile der meisten Tauchcomputer angezeigt werden, die mit der Desktop Logbuch Software ausgelesen wurden, und später auf das iPhone oder den iPad kopiert wurden. Tauchprofile können ebenfalls von bestimmten Tauchcomputern direkt ausgelesen werden. Dafür nötig ist ein kompatibles Bluetooth Gerät und der zugehörige In-App Kauf.

Unter Windows ist Diving Log 6.0 (www.divinglog.de) mit integrierter Synchronisation vollständig kompatibel mit Dive Log auf dem iPhone/iPad. Diving Log 6.0 bietet umfangreiche Unterstützung beim Import von Tauchdaten von einer Vielzahl von Tauchcomputern oder anderen Tauchprogrammen.

Unter Mac OS X können Logbuch Daten mittels des kostenlosen Dive Log Managers von einer Vielzahl von Anwendungen importiert und zum iPhone/iPad synchronisiert werden. Die Anwendung ist erhältlich von More Mobile Software (www.moremobilesoftware.com/divelog-sync). DiveLogDT (erhältlich im Mac App Store) kann eine Reihe von Tauchcomputern direkt auslesen und Dateiformate importieren und anschließend mit Dive Log unter iOS synchronisiert werden.

Ihre Tauchdaten können auch von ihrem Bluetooth LE fähigen Tauchcomputer (wie der Suunto EON Steel, Suunto EON Core, Suunto D5, Scubapro Galileo 2 (G2), Aladin Sport (Matrix), Aladin H (Matrix), G2 HUD, Aladin A1, Shearwater Teric, Peregrine, Petrel 2,Petrel 3, Perdix, Perdix AI, Perdix 2, NERD 2, Oceanic VTX, Pro Plus 4, Geo 4.0, VEO 4.0, Aeris A300CS, Aqualung i300C, i330R, i550C, i750TC, i770R, Apeks DSX, Sherwood Wisdom 4, Mares Genius einige heinrichs weikamp OSTC Computer, sowie die DiveNav Inc. bluebuddy und Tech Buddy Tauchlogger Zubehöre) direkt auf ein Bluetooth LE (Bluetooth 4.0) fähiges iPhone, iPad oder iPod touch geladen werden. Unterstützte Bluetooth LE Zubehöre sind separat erhältlich.

Mares Bluelink Pro ist ein Bluetooth LE Gerät von Mares und kann separat unter (www.mares.com) erworben werden. Bluelink Pro ermöglicht das direkte Auslesen von Tauchgangsdaten von bestimmten Mares Tauchcomputern  (Puck Pro, Smart, Smart Air, Quad and Quad Air) nach Dive Log auf Bluetooth LE kompatiblen iPhone, iPad oder iPod Touch Geräten.

Dive Computer Buddy (auch DCbuddy genannt) ist ein Bluetooth LE Gerät von DiveNav Inc. (Hinweis: DCbuddy wurde eingestellt und ist nicht mehr verfügbar) erworben werden. DCbuddy ermöglicht das direkte Auslesen von Tauchgangsdaten von bestimmten Tauchcomputern nach Dive Log auf Bluetooth LE kompatiblen iPhone, iPad oder iPod Touch Geräten.

Schade ist, dass wichtige Daten wie Durchschnittstiefe, Setpoint, tatsächlicher ppO2, mCCR oder eCCR nicht angezeigt werden können. 
Die Durchschnittstiefe wird zwar angezeigt, leider aber nur über den gesamten TG. Für die Dekoberechnung und die Planung von weiteren TG wäre es aber nützlich, wenn die Durchschnittstiefe genau wie die Temperatur und die absolute  Tiefe zu jedem Zeitpunkt des Tauchganges angezeigt werden könnte.

Viel übersichtlicher als SmartTrack vom Uwatec Aladin Prime.
Nun bin ich noch gespannt wie es ab nächstem Urlaub mit dem Mares Icon HD aussieht.

Einziges minus für mich:
Ich kann den Tauchcomputer nicht direkt mit dem iPad/iPhone synchronisieren.
Das erhältliche Zubehör unterstützt den Mares Icon HD nicht = -1 Stern

Best of all, the DCbuddy support was absolutely free! Quite honestly I would have also paid for this feature.
