We're a band of thoughtful rascals building the brightest corner of the internet. No advertisers pulling the strings. No AI slop. No posting to please the algorithm. Just real videos, real people, real creativity — and a corner of the internet you can actually claim. Bring your weird, unfiltered self. Chances are you'll find someone just like you.

We believe what you make should stay yours. Divine is built on an open protocol, so your videos aren't trapped in one app or locked behind one company's decisions. You get more control. We get less power. That's the point.

Inspired by Vine — and home to tons of Vine classics — but 100% independent. No affiliation with Vine, Twitter, or X.

What to expect

- Invite codes. Yes we know, they suck, but it's how we make sure we fix bugs and scale the servers. Reach out for a code. 
- Six seconds. Make it count. The loop is the art form.
- All human. No slop. Real human creativity, no Gen-AI.
- You own it. Your loops are owned and controlled by you, not to us. Leave anytime and take your audience with you.
- Lists, not chaos. Build public lists of creators, friends, and niches. Follow the lists you love.
- No shadow bans. Divine runs on independent relays — servers that carry your content across the network — so no one company can lock you out.
- Your feed, your call. Choose your own algorithm instead of getting baited by ads.
- Open source, by design. The code is public. Inspect it, build on it, hold us to it.
- Invite codes, for now. Not a velvet rope — we're just scaling servers carefully. Request a code and you're usually in within minutes.

I had been wanting to leave FB for a while. Too much drama. Too many arguing about this, that, and the other. It gave me intense stress and anxiety everytime I opened the app. MySpace has been teasing a relaunch, and I was getting excited for it. I don’t do TikTok, too many ads and boring. Never got into X or insta. I wasn’t on the OG Vine, but my sons watched it. What drew me in is the lack of ads and AI slop. I do wish I could upload some of my older videos in my phone library, but I understand why we can’t, and I’m supportive of it. I’m really enjoying everything about DiVine!

It constantly shows the same videos by the same creators, sometimes the aspect ratio is completely off so you’re watching a zoomed in version of your favorite vine, and most of the vines you see are the ones from 2016 where they talk about how it’s ending. You’re better off watching YouTube compilations of old vines than using this app. So rushed.

Why even tease an upload button if you aren’t gonna let creators use it? I understand why you dont have it but i have a strong feeling a lack of an upload button will kill the platform decently quick. I’ve used vine for a long time and there are pelnty of creators who used video editors and outside platforms to make vines (Zach king, a few Danny Gonzalez vines ect) hell there are even EDITS on the platform that were made with cute cut and whatever the old video editors were. Keeping everything in the app and lacking a good video editor of your own is gonna not only kill the want to upload on your platform but it’s gonna eventually kill the user base all together. Even without an upload button I still see slop uploaded onto your platform, ai generated nonsense and reuploaded clips galore on there. Please, if you want to keep this app alive give us the ability to upload clips. Eventually.l.

I never got to experience vine as a kid. My first impressions are that it’s very good just you guys should add camera roll uploads and to fix the for you page but I get this just released so no rush.

Not an app for animators.  I literally make 3d vj loops using Blender that are 3-6 seconds long and I can't upload them.  No uploading is allowed, everything must be made in app.  Not allowed to edit/upload any existing footage or bring in something made in any other software.  They claim it's to avoid AI, but it's really just screwing over anyone who doesn't make content they film specifically for this app.  

It's also funded by jack dorsey, so it's technically open source but like bluesky where the vast majority of people won't be hosting an instance because of the cost.  They aren't some small project like they claim, using their code and hosting your own is not viable like they keep saying in their replies.

The editor is incredible what you can do. It basically has the same tools you would get with adobe Premiere or final cut pro - not to mention you can look up all the old vines as well. The new content creators are literally pretty great and it’s not just 2016 humor like the OG Vine. Some really quality content coming from Late Night Insomniacs Club or #LNIC for short. Can’t wait to see more from this app. Stoked I don’t have to worry about fake AI content.

When you go to type code to verify account on sign up I’m on iPhone 16 pro plus and when I’m done typing code the keypad won’t go away to verify code. So I went back to my email app on yahoo and verified it manually. I had to exit and come back on for it to work. Please fix. And also please add a confirmation on profile that says everything was successful cus idk if I did it correctly. Do I need a passkey for this ?

The app doesn't work.  There is a small community on there that the creators give views too and surpress others.  If you question anything about the bugginess and glitches in the app they will shadowban you.  It's filled of middle aged hopefuls who are hoping to get famous on an app the just doesn't work

I’m so happy with the constant updates. The developers listen and are always improving. When I joined the app, there was a sound upload problem- that was quickly fixed. The edit options are nice and simple and allow for a lot of creative thinking. I’m still unsure how to get verified but I’m having fun with this app!
