## Divorce App Description
How can you help your child or grandchild cope with divorce? Turn to the Divorce App to learn what your child is feeling and how to help him or her through this challenging experience.

The Divorce App has sold copies on 5 continents (North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa) and in over 14 countries.  

Ask a child how he/she is feeling and the answer is often, "I don’t know." Asking children to draw how they are feeling about divorce, however, often reveals their truest feelings, some of which they may be unaware of, or afraid to speak out about.

In the Divorce App, Dr. Woliver uses children’s drawings to illustrate their stories, feelings and needs at each developmental stage, so parents and grandparents can help them deal with the divorce. 

Some of the pictures are heartbreaking; others are inspiring, but the drawings provide abundant motivation to do something and present the hope that children can survive and thrive. 

The solutions present a clear plan of what to do. There are specific suggestions for problems at different developmental stages from 2–18.

The Divorce App allows you to select the ages of the children and quickly gets you to the heart of the matter and then as quickly moves you to a solution. Suitable for parents, children, teachers and counselors, the drawings and the app give a parent the tools to talk to and to work with their children. It is also useful in therapy.

The App has activities for children to help explain the divorce and a quiz for parents to help instruct and gauge how well you are reacting to your child’s needs during the divorce.

The Divorce App is based on Dr. Woliver's book Mango Season Doesn't Last Forever: A Guide to Helping Children Cope with Divorce.

Dr. Woliver brings 25 years of experience working with children of divorce. The Divorce App helps you ensure that your child not only survives the divorce, but also grows positively from the experience.

The Divorce App is an inspirational book and app for many. It really hits home for families everywhere. It's not only just a self-help book and app for parents, but also for kids. My parents were never married but they act as if they are divorced. This app helped me cope with all of the new things that I was learning about them. It helped me make sense of all the things that were on my mind. It helped me relate with other children that were in the same situation. It brought to light the things that kids with divorced parents go through and the stress that is involved. I would recommend this app to preteens 12 and up. The app activities are very useful.

Great app!!! I really enjoyed this app. Using it was like a dream and the book was a glorified version of the paperback copy. I would recommend this book to anyone with a troubled marriage. And the activities can help kids understand what goes on during a divorce in a fun way. Highly recommended.
