DJI’s drones are great but their app is bad. Why does it force landscape mode? Why does the UI look like a cheap 2004 browser game? Why can’t it connect instantly once you turn on your drone? Again, great hardware that is held back by poor software and UX. This app should be to their drones what the Tesla App is to that company’s cars. Instead, it feels more like a VW software product.

Update 2024-08-07 DJI seems to have fixed the issues I have had with the Mastershots 👍 Update 2024-06-27 Still only 9 templates on the iPhone and I’m not able to compile Mastershots on the RC2 controller. Absolutely 🤯🤬 After shooting several Mastershots on my DJI Air 3 I’m not able to compile a video using the templates on the RC2 controller. It ask me to use Quick Transfer instead on my iPhone or iPad Pro using this app. But on this app there’s only 9 templates. The Mastershot function is absolutely worthless when you can’t use the templates 👎🤬

The app won’t let me log into transportstyrelsen, it says that the bank id app isn’t installed but it is. So I can’t add my drone id :))))))))))

The app won’t let me log in to transportstyrelsen because it can’t open mobilt BankID (it says the app is missing). So I can’t att my drone license and drone id.

Why isn’t there a drone simulator in this app? There’s one app for the FPV and a simple one in the GO-app. When I had the Inspire 1 I loved to fly the sim when the weather was bad outside.

Signal problems on mini 2 after 100-200 meters from control

Useless. Its a shame that DJI releases a new flagship drone (Mavic 3) with most of the basic features missing.
