I landed to Dobby because of a friend, but he warned me about a problem he had with one of the representatives. Anyway, I decided to do it. At the beginning you start filling everything out, basic details. After that I got few jobs because of them, from 10 jobs I estimated I lost 7 and got 3 out of 7. Because to my price that was really fair enough I had to add 20% more for their commission. I was loosing a lot opportunities. Also I got two jobs that were confirmed with the customers and I was gonna schedule them, but Dobby sent me a message that the customers were not gonna move forward. But to short my story, they kicked me out from the app for no reason, they just deleted it. I’ve done Thumbtack for about 5 years, they send you the lead and you pay per lead. I’d rather use thumbtack thank Dobby. They say they provide full back office support, but they hide customer information like phone and email, turns out they are not my customers but theirs, you essentially have a boss that can make up the rules as he chooses and you just agreed to it in perpetuity.
