Used by emergency medicine groups, urgent care operators, hospitalist teams, and specialty telehealth practices, it helps clinicians produce structured, billing-ready notes faster, with less burnout. Flexible enough to adapt to any specialty or workflow.
PURPOSE-BUILT FOR ACUTE CARE
Most AI scribes are general-purpose tools retrofitted for clinicians. DocAssistant was built from the ground up for the pace, documentation requirements, and medical decision-making unique to acute care environments. Clinical direction comes from practicing physicians, with advisory guidance from Scott Weingart, MD (EMCrit).
AI SCRIBE
Passive listening, voice dictation, or manual entry. DocAssistant transcribes patient encounters and generates structured notes in the format your workflow requires, including HPI, ROS, Physical Exam, MDM, and Disposition. Smart Exam Templates pre-fill baseline findings and highlight abnormals. Notes adapt to your personal style through custom instructions and macros.
FLEXIBLE ACROSS SPECIALTIES
While built for acute care, DocAssistant adapts to any specialty. Customize note templates, exam patterns, and documentation style to match primary care, specialty clinic, inpatient, or telehealth workflows.
MEDICAL CODING
Automatic extraction of Evaluation and Management codes from your documentation. Review suggested CPT and ICD-10 codes inline with the note. Group administrators can access clinician-level coding distribution reports and compare against department benchmarks.
BUILT FOR GROUPS
Multi-site group administration, clinician-level analytics, and documentation quality reporting. Used by acute care groups across multiple states to standardize documentation, support billing, and reduce time to chart closure.
DOCGPT: CLINICAL REFERENCE
Ask clinical reference questions alongside your documentation workflow. DocGPT is a reference assistant, not a diagnostic or treatment tool - it surfaces information from medical literature to support clinician-led decisions.
