My military doctor told me about this app, and I have now used it twice. Both times I’ve had VERY interesting experiences. It seems that they only employ doctors, and NP’s who hate their jobs and are cranky. Both times I have been rudely spoken to, and lectured over the video chat. They seem to hate prescribing things even if it’s a reoccurring thing you’ve had in the past, and they hate when you know more than them about your own body. The first doctor I ever got on the app was a male, and I didn’t mind even though it was for a UTI. My doctor in real life is a male as well. But he started asking about my medical history, and it got brought up that I had a hysterectomy. We then spent the next 5 minutes awkwardly talking about my hysterectomy, and why I personally wanted one. Which frankly, was none of his business and unrelated to the UTI. Well I ended up going to my military doctor after that and the antibiotics the doctor gave me from this app are garbage and are not nearly strong enough to fight off what I had going on with my UTI. Yesterday I called about a ear issue, that I had already gone to the doctor for and I needed stronger medication, she lectured me as well, and seemed to hate her job. I got lectured and berated over an ear issue I’ve had since I was 1 month old. And she didn’t seem to like that I knew more than her.
Cut off
I was cut off while speaking 7 minutes into the visit. The video visit was terminated abruptly. Very unsatisfied with this service.
Love This Service
If it wasn’t for this Service, I would have been lost. The Doctors are great every time I call on them. Save me a trip to the Doc or ER.

I am a huge fan of Dr On Demand. I can get prescriptions for common issues fast and easy. I wish all my healthcare interactions were as good as Dr On Demand.

I love this app. Whenever I am unable to see my primary care physician, I find a provider on this app who can help me. There is always a provider available even on nights and weekends. I have only had excellent experiences with knowledgeable providers.
HORRIBLE
Started out great getting a fast appointment late at night. However the DR sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy that was already closed. I then sat on hold for an hour for the customer service to tell me that I had to wait get it fixed with no guesstimate of how long. I sat in the pharmacy for 2 hours and still nothing so then I booked a second appointment to get the same prescription at the right pharmacy and come to find out they dont even have the ability to send a prescription to the pharmacy… so I had to walk into the emergency room.. Still two weeks later the pharmacy and the new pharmacy never received my prescription… huge waste of $200 and 4 hours of my life
Hidden gem
I didn’t know this was a service provided by my insurance. I was able to find a therapist online quickly and start therapy right away. The app is easy to navigate and session notes and tools are always available for review.
Love this app
Sunday morning, 8 AM, I woke up with severe hives, my eyes swollen almost shut, from a medication I started two days ago. Waited five minutes for a doctor, and five minutes later I had a prescription called in. Love this app, love the convenience, and how knowledgeable my practitioner was.
Experienced Physicians
I’m a RN. I’ve used this app at work and at home for rashes, pulled hamstring, colds, sinus infections etc. All of the physicians are knowledgeable, patient and caring. This has saved me from losing time at work. Definitely a plus to have this service!
