Looks like a great idea! Unfortunately, I couldn’t get past the awful gruesome and horrific movie promo images on the first page of the app!!! Highly recommend trying the website version to avoid the obnoxious and poorly considered front page imagery. I mean, really, it’s a complete conflict of interest!
No more trauma triggering!!!
As a victim of sexual assault, I can’t say enough how much this app means to me. I love horror movies and thrillers and dramas, but the amount of content that includes graphic r*pe scenes is absurd! (Outlander, I’m looking at you.) Thank you for allowing me a place to conveniently and easily find out if a movie or show is going to trigger my trauma. There have been MULTIPLE times I intended on watching something but found out from this site that it would actually be triggering and painful for me to watch (without having to spoil anything if it ended up being safe to watch). Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Love!
I LOVE this app! I have one very specific trigger and this has saved me many anxiety attacks. I wish more people knew about this app, it’s is an absolute life saver.
Best money I’ve ever spent
I use this app for every movie or series I’m going to watch. I love animals and have a very hard time watching them hurt or killed on screen. This app helps prepare me for/or avoid anything I’m not ready for. I’m so glad this app exists. Thank you to the developers for making cry babies like me able to comfortably watch shows again. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Such a smart idea
I have a big fear of vomit and hate seeing movies with vomit, and this app is amazing i never have to worry about if a movie will trigger me. Whoever created this app, thank you 🙏🏼
CPTSD Lifesaver
This app is so amazing. I have complex post traumatic stress disorder, and a whole lot of triggers. I also have an love for dark shows/movies/media. This app lets me make really great choices about what to watch. If I decide to watch a show with a triggering scene there usually is time stamps of when it takes place so I can just fast forward through them. This app truly improves my life so so much.
Pretty functional, I do have this complaint tho…
Even though I’m not sure what the point of the app is when the website works okay in mobile, in the past couple weeks it’s become increasingly UNBEARABLE on mobile with several annoying including some that block important buttons when adding a comment
Thank you SO much
I absolutely love stories. I’ve been given some recommendations from friends and acquaintances, but they rarely tell me what’s going in the story.
I don’t care much about spoilers, truthfully I’m someone who enjoys spoilers, but sometimes I can’t read a summary online. Or sometimes my friends actively make sure I DON’T go looking for spoilers. I have things I’m uncomfortable with, and there were times where I consumed a piece of media and went catatonic because of content I wasn’t aware of, so this app is an absolute godsend.
Thank GOD for this. I managed to find some warnings even for more unpopular media! I’m so glad this app exists. I recommended it to a close friend who loves horror movies but is wary because they don’t know what’s in it.
really helps my anxiety :)
i’ve never written a review for anything before but i wanted to commend this app for being so thorough and the community for being so helpful with their votes. i love movies but there are a couple of topics that make me super anxious. knowing what’s coming ahead of time really helps. i highly recommend this for anyone who struggles with certain triggers in movies.
Great concept, app is behind the website
The app is a bit buggy (sometimes you can see more yes/no votes in a browser than on the app, which matters for less-popular shows) but this is still such a super useful tool. I really appreciate the concept.
The website now has the ability to separate different seasons of a tv show but the app doesn’t, so it’s unclear how those will interact.
Great community of people on here and always trying to improve the ratings.
