Properties are clearly uploaded with ‘no price’ (even though they know exactly what they want for it) and then used to flood search results for much lower value houses, meaning it’s the end user whose time is wasted getting meaningless alerts and picking apart irrelevant search results. I asked for assistance but they didn’t help me to any resolution e.g. fix the issue or offer compensation. I’ve since been in touch with a lawyer who said it’s illegal for them to do this and I am now asking for compensation for this? I’m taking a picture of this and putting it on socials and also getting in touch with current affair and other news programs if I get no cooperation. There are more search options when booking a room for a few nights on AirBnB than there are to search for a long-term rental. It's ridiculous and a complete waste of time having to spend hours weeding through irrelevant results. Yet, apart from realestate.com which is equally as bad, there are limited other options.
