## DoMarks Description
DoMarks is the to-do app for bookmarks. Save links. Organize them. Check them off. Done!

Create a Mark, assign an action, and transform your bookmarks into a focused, workable list. Whether it's articles to read, videos to watch, or podcasts to queue up — DoMarks keeps you on top of it all.

Features:
• Actions. Categorize Marks to build lists of videos to watch, articles to read, podcasts to listen to, and more.
• Tags. Add tags to fine-tune your organization and find exactly what you're looking for.
• A list built to be worked. Every Mark is a card showing its site icon, its action, and its tags at a glance. Swipe either edge — and choose which actions live there.
• Cross-platform. Marks sync automatically via iCloud across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
• Siri & Apple Intelligence. Ask Siri to save the page you're reading in Safari, or to open, complete, or delete a Mark by name. Refer to what's on screen instead of naming it.
• Spotlight. Your Marks, actions, and tags are searchable right from the Home Screen. Tap a result to open it in DoMarks.
• Control Center. Add a Mark or jump straight to a list — or tap Surprise Me to open something you saved at random, without the app appearing at all. Put any of them on the Action button.
• Shortcuts. A deep Shortcuts library for adding, finding, opening, completing, and organizing Marks, actions, and tags. Results come back as cards you can act on without leaving Siri.
• Share Extension. Save links from Safari, social apps, or anywhere else - straight into DoMarks.
• Drag & Drop. Drag a URL from any app directly into a list to instantly create a new Mark.
• Widgets. Glance at your bookmarks from the Home Screen and jump right in.
• Private by design. No ads, no tracking, and no bookmark ever leaves your own iCloud account.

As title states, this is the best solution for a timeless problem. Developer is expanding features regularly and, for current needs of mine, the free version is very good. Happily will upgrade to a paid level, if/when my needs demand that.

Granted the function of this app is incredibly helpful (despite it's simplistic nature), it is also noteworthy that for a minimalistic app, it's properly lightweight, super responsive, and is very well designed with a fantastically slick UI. Though, with all that being said, I personally find the asking price to remove the rather strict limitations, to be almost laughable. Let's be honest, at best, this is just a prettier version of something that can be done almost equally as well using something as basic as the native notes app. I don't find it strange that there is a price, but considering what it is, if I were the dev, I might expect users to pay maybe a 1-time payment of 3, 4 maybe 5 dollars to unlock. It seems absurd to expect users to pay a monthly subscription for an app like this, which requires very little (if any) server communication, virtually no significant amount of data traffic, debatably easy maintenance updates and a slew of competitor apps up for grabs , as there is (clearly) very little originality or ingenuity involved in this apps functionality. I looked at other payment options expecting some kind of lifetime payment for one-time fee, and practically chuckled when I saw dev asking for 40 bucks or something 🙄 no thanks. I'll pass. Well made app, objectively should not be subscription based though. And subjectively isn't worth 40 dollars, or even half that (in my opinion).

Really great. So easy. Easier than Safari bookmarks on my iPad. I don’t use it on my iPhone, hmm, dunno why not. I have a Mac and a PC, gotta do Windows 11 for certain things. If DoMarks was cross platform it would be my lifelong partner. (Like if One-Tab ever came to iOS. Swoon. Can y’all please just have a computer baby and make this one dream come true?) please don’t make us sign up. I love not having to divorce you when I will eventually get locked out of my iCloud or change my number.

If the app seems broken to you, it's because it is severely limited unless you sign up for a subscription. So restricted, in my opinon, that it's difficult to evaluate. However, I did discover one thing to be aware of, the app unexpectedly stomps on your clipboard due to the way the sharing action is impementd.
