Domino 10 Frame
Practice representing the pips from a domino in a 10-Frame. Uses dominos up to 9,9 and one or two 10-Frames.
You have the options to show dominos so that the pips total 10 or less, 11 to 18, or 2 to 18. You also have options to show the number represented by the pips of the domino by dragging chips representing the pips to a 10-Frame or by dragging the pips themselves to a 10-Frame.
First developed in 2013 with Amy K and Abbey W, two elementary education majors at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL as part of the NumberSense project. The app was desgined to help kindergarten students’ development of subitizing.
