Can I rent more than one bike at once?
Yes, you can rent up to 5 bikes at once! Just make sure to select the correct number of vehicles right at the beginning of your booking process.
Can I leave the bike anywhere?
No. We work hard with the cities to keep the streets clean and accessible for everyone. Please return your Donkeys to specific drop-off locations when you are done for the day.
What if I have issues?
Our support team is always happy to help and understands that life happens.
HOW PRICING WORKS
Just Ride (Pay as you go)
With no strings attached. Just Ride is ideal for trips from 15 mins to a few hours. You can also top up your Donkey Wallet with money and we will give you bonus credit that you can use for Just Riding.
Day Deals
In some cities, we have rolled out day deals which are great for when you just need a bike for the 1,2,3, or up to 7 days. Visiting for a weekend or inspired to explore like a local when you're on vacation? This is the perfect solution for you or a guest visiting you.
Monthly memberships
With a Donkey membership, you pay a fixed monthly fee and get a certain amount of free time per day. If you exceed the included daily free time, your rental is extended for a low fixed cost. Ideal for the daily commute and for a busy city life with multiple errands throughout the day. Valid in all Donkey cities.

Cant launch
When i launch the app its just an orange screen - cant do anything

Great system, grab a bike whenever you need it. Also top customer service
Short term rides got too expensive
Its too expensive to have the bike for only few hours. I might as well take sharenow
Ridiculous drop-off sites
They don’t have that many drop-off sites, and they’re so far away from each other, it’s really hard to find one drop-off site. If I have to park the bike that far away from where I need to be, I might as well just walk.
Trash
Reserved a bike at a location, and when I showed up it was gone. Cancelled my reservation and it disappeared from the map
Payment update.
I can’t update my payment information.
Good concept and service
Good concept and service however some of the bikes could use some maintenance love. Also their customer support is closing 5pm but they are responsive over email in case of issues. I would recommend.
Relocation fee scam
I left the bike in a bicycle parking spot and got charged $6 for a relocation fee. Use Lime, no sneaky fees.
App crashes on iOS
I think there’s an issue with the app for users that have previously installed the app on older versions of iOS and have since upgraded. When the app starts up, then it immediately crashes. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, this resulted in getting a bunch of permissions dialogs on app start up instead of an immediate crash, and I was able to use the app. Both myself and my wife had exactly the same issue, and assumed that the app just didn’t work on iOS. There could be a number of users that are impacted by this issue.
