Now it’s excessive how high the fees are and the cost of food is more than what the restaurant charges. I could tolerate that but when I also have to pay more to get my food delivered direct and not after three deliveries which means my food is almost always cold on the passenger seat by the time it’s delivered. And then there’s constant missing food. There is never an explanation or an easy refund. I’m fairly certain at this point the driver is snacking away on my families meal. I paid $100 for groceries from IGA and waited almost a month to get $50 of that back. Half the time things are just missing and you either have to drive to the store to get what you paid for or wait an infinite amount of time to get a refund. I finished selecting items then started paying money with red card, declined many times, I message doordash support, just robot answers. No choice but abort the order. My completion rate dropped. It turned out that doordash did not put enough fund into my red card to pay the shopping order, that’s why declined. Waste my petrol, waste my time, waste my patience. My suggestion for the app, show the remaining fund every grocery shopping order every time paying with red card. -- Renze. Highlight in better color -- Dashjjjn, 2025-01-25 ### ****- "Update" The new update when doing shop orders with a red card makes it more difficult to differentiate orders when doing two. The old version would describe one order as larger or smaller and it was helpful to initially decide where the orders were going; in the trolley or the basket. Now that has disappeared - it slows down the process, you have to look at the items ordered to try and work out which order is larger, it doesn’t take long but it still takes longer than before. Doordash would also show you a photo of the items you’ve already collected when you pick up the next item to make sure you’re putting it with the correct order, this helped a lot! Now you can only tell by remembering what order and items are A and red or B and blue. Again it slows down the process. Some items in a coles shop will randomly be in ounces not gm or kilogram… impossible to figure out what’s what, and no I’m not going to spend time googling a conversion. Just fix it. Generally this app is fine but just recently… Even though I have just this moment updated the app—- when I am shopping in Coles the list of items will shuffle around in order you think you’re looking at one thing then all of a sudden the whole list changes order while you’re looking at it!!! It’s doing my head in! Pls fix list shuffling!! Also common to be sent to a store way too early so pack a book or crossword.
