DoorDash - Food Delivery

Part of my order wasn’t delivered and Door Dash considers $6.51 refund for a $20.50 dish, ‘resolved’. Awful. Never again.

Don't know what is wrong with the app now but while it is open it turns my iPhone SE into a heater. The phone even goes into panic mode dimming the screen to try and save itself. Shame, hope there is a fix for this soon.

Bought a gift card on smart spending and was left with 7 cents to pay. App said that I had to have at least 50 cents but I already paid $34. And then it said tip to make up 50cents but there is no where to add a tip!! Had to pay twice and will have to use my gift card next time but that is so stupid!

Not going into their prices or customer service at all, purely the app. When you’re scrolling and open a store to look, as soon as you exit that store it reboots to the top, meaning scrolling through the whole list again to see what’s available. I literally only DoorDash when they have good promos on because the app delivers nothing but frustration

Had an issue where the dasher dropped my order, and I had used a special coupon. Customer service did not give me a second use of the coupon even though it was their fault. They even told me to speak to third parties myself to try to get a second use, which made no sense from a customer perspective. The pricing is mostly okay though, even though it is hit and miss sometimes.

I'm extremely disappointed with the recent experience I had using DoorDash. The service has become excessively expensive, with prices for each item being about 25% more than what is listed at the restaurant. On top of that, DoorDash is double-charging for food and adding a hefty delivery fee. It's frustrating to see how much more I'm paying for the same food, just for the convenience of delivery.

DoorDash now uses AI to generate artificial item descriptions which are frequently incorrect or misleading. You can no longer trust anything this app tells you.

i done bought off u and you wont stop cancelling my orders like why cant you just reschedule my order to a time you can actuallt deliver it instead of cancelling it and i never end up getting my refund honestly i would of been better off walking there pmo

DoorDash does not incentivise the restaurants to do a good job. Restaurants consistently give the wrong items, wrong amount, missing items, no cutlery, etc and DoorDash doesn’t charge them for a full refund when the order is completely messed up. Without consequences, the restaurants have no reason to improve. Cancelled my DoorDash membership.
