## DopaPause Reviews in United States

### *---- "Buggy"
It won’t unlock my apps on the schedule so I had to do it manually. It was annoying so I decided to delete the app during the trial but then I was charged $65.. hopefully I’ll get it back from the dispute
-- Sasha_Swan, 2025-08-31

### *---- "7 day free trial"
I signed up for the 7 day free trial and was charged the full amount of close to $60 for a yearly subscription. I couldn’t get a refund through Apple. I emailed and hopefully the app will refund me.
-- jkerns81, 2025-08-29

### ***** "Great App!"
This app has helped me get off my phone and get out to embrace life!
-- Warninggg7, 2025-07-31

### *---- "Don’t use the free trail!!!"
After this app was heavily marketed to me over the course of several weeks I finally decided to give it a shot. The result? Mistakenly getting stuck with an annual subscription. I attempted to cancel the same day it was charged and Apple refused to refund it. Super disappointing. The app serves no purpose for me because all you have to do is just unlock everything that is locked. So in short, you are just paying to use screen time, which is built into the iPhone, at no additional. At least with a screen time, you could ideally password protect the lockout or the downtime as they like to call it and you could give the password to override it to someone else in your household to keep you accountable. I’ve now spent $90 and haven’t opened the app once since my original trial. Don’t do business with companies who bet on the fact that you will forget to cancel your trial. If it was a good app and a good company, they wouldn’t have to lock you in to an annual subscription. Monthly? Sure. Forced annual subscriptions are scams! Don’t do it!

### ***** "DopaPause App Is Great"
This app has helped me control my doom scrolling. I would recommend to anyone looking for an alternative to controlling your screen time.
-- TheOfficialJAnt, 2025-07-24

### ***** "Amazing"
Great way to escape and get back to enjoying life. I used to be addicted to my phone and social media and now I’m spending time outside more and making great memories
-- summerowi, 2025-07-24

### ***** "The accountability I needed"
Finally a practical app that allows me to pause the mindless scrolling and replace the dopamine hit with intentionality. I really like that I can choose which apps I want to restrict (pointless time wasters) and which ones I want to keep available (for productivity and learning). It’s just what I needed!
-- stel77@7, 2025-07-21

### *---- "Glitchy, Overpriced, and Hard to Uninstall"
Good idea, but the app is a mess.

It didn’t block the apps I selected, even after setting it up twice.

Gave up and got a different app.

Tried uninstalling, and it wouldn’t let me.

Had to go into settings, remove screen time access, then uninstall.

Not cheap either. Almost the same price as Opal, which actually works.
-- YURI_1010, 2025-07-15

### ***** "Life changer"
Literally changed my life helped stop me for scrolling for hours and actually made me go outside and live life.
-- Rachelr0613, 2025-07-06

### ***** "Great App"
I really really love this app it really helps me understand how much time I spend on my phone and helps me get away from it!
