## Double Deck Pinochle ‣ Description
Double Deck Pinochle card game classic • Solo and Multiplayer • Smart bots • Thousands of people to play with • Play online with friends • Interactive tutorial • Free and no signup required!

Play Double Deck Pincochle to your heart's content with the official Double Deck Pincochle card game app from World of Card Games. Pair up with people by joining one of our tables, play by yourself against our bots, or create a private table and invite your friends and family to play. Our game is free to play and no signup is required.

Double Deck Pinochle is a 4-player game where the players are split into 2 teams of 2 players. The goal of the game is to reach 500 points first. Points are earned through melding and trick-taking. Kings, Aces and 10s are each worth 1 point in a trick, and the last trick has a bonus of 2 points. Each team must score no less than 20 points in both melds and tricks to avoid penalties.

At the start of the game, each player is dealt 20 cards, and the trump suit is determined by having each player bid. The highest bidder chooses the trump suit and must have a marriage (King and Queen) in that particular suit. Tricks are played in clockwise order, with players needing to play higher-ranking cards if possible.

=== Play against friends or family at a private table
Meeting fellow card game enthusiasts online is nice, but nothing beats a game against friends or family. Start a private table and let your friends know about the table name to get them to join.

=== Ranked games and global leaderboards
If you're serious about your card games or have a competitive streak, ranked games are for you. These games are reserved for more series players and will only be accessible to you once you've signed up and played 10 games. Ranked players have a chance to end up on the daily leaderboard.

## Double Deck Pinochle ‣ Reviews in United States

### *---- "Yeh…."
I was excited to find this game. After playing it (iPad) a couple days, it started going to ads…how can that be since it says no ads? Hen I get back to the screen, the played cards are frozen in the middle of the table. It also gives the wrong playing team the trick, or mis reads the trump played or the hierarchy of the suit played. I am hopeful there will be fix’s made!!
-- Oadie1, 2024-11-24

### **--- "Recent updates make this app unusable"
This app/game was really good before the recent update that “fixed bugs”. Instead it makes ad banners block and the bidding box block the view of the cards so you are unable to count your bid. When you hold the phone in portrait mode, the cards are too close together to see anything. Time to use a different app.
